Morning Peeps, a quick post with my mid month shares for We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations challenges. And a brief explanation after Saturday's post as some have asked if things are OK at my end.

I have alluded in recent weeks to my MS having a bit of a hissy fit, it's never a quick fix and inevitably my eyes take another downward turn. It's over a year since they told me I was losing my sight so every time I have a setback a bit more of the optic nerve is damaged and needs rest. Add to that Poppy one of our dogs had life saving surgery a week ago to enable her to breath and needs 24/7 care, she is making progress but it's slow going. The combination meant something had to give for a few weeks.

Super makes Brenda, I particularly like that first one stamped on the book page. I was really sad to read that Poppy isn't out of the wars yet - I send you lots of love and know how heart wrenching the worry can be xxxx

Bit hard to chose a fav B. As rose lover though think no 1 might wlin, they're all done with beautiful colouring.. great inspiration!
Am glad you've shared the issue dear B., no fun re eyes needing rest, I've optic nerve issues and was told in my twenties I'd lose my sight within 20 years, well thankfullyGod is in control not that particular ophthalmologist. It's stable, no lose for several decades, and where vision is lost in one eye, the other can compensate for it, even though lost half vision of right eye and quarter field, it's not same in each eye.
Will pray your condition will stabilise for you and MS also will co-operate.. and your furbaby will recover well.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless and keep you and all whom you love safe and well.
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz. X

I love the colour combo and the stamping on the book page of your first card. Really pretty second card, fabulous sentiment and colours on the third card, also love the design too. I think those are acetate butterflies on your fourth card which look so effective on the gorgeous inky background.
Happy crafting

What beautiful cards Brenda, spring is brought to mind with the pretty colours of the last three and I love the combination of black, white and red on the first. Very sophisticated. So sorry to read that your MS is causing you trouble once more and poor Poppy too. I wish you both better days ahead xx

I think the first card is the star of the show for me, so dramatic against the background (I did try to see if I knew which book it was from!) I just love it so much.
Your other inky makes are so pretty and particularly effective are the acetate butterflies.
I hope Poppy is continuing to make progress.

Beautiful creation Brenda, so loving that first one with the striking color combo and beautiful butterfly but the others are equally gorgeous! I think I need to treat myself to a large butterfly stamp! I've had one on my wish list for quite some time!
Good to hear Poppy is making some progress! It's always so worrisome when things are not as they should be!

If I remember correctly Poppy will be quite a mature pup by now, as are so many of us. Your battle and refusal to give in or be personally weakened by MS has been an inspiration to so many of us over the years. Time for you two girls to be kind to yourselves though I doubt either one of you will just down tools and say OK it's done. Reading your post and seeing all the beautiful cards you are sharing in just this one item there is a contradiction you may not see things so sharply/clearly but you are most certainly not loosing your sight. Stay Safe, Keep Well (as far as possible) and HAVE FUN x
