Take Flight

Morning Peeps, it's Saturday and time for a new challenge at Allsorts where our host is Tracy Mouse and her theme is 'Take Flight'. This weeks lucky winner will receive a store voucher and surprise gift from Swedish House Crafts.

Now I know our Tracy is very into her Lavinia stamps and was lucky enough to visit their shop earlier in the month, so of course I had to make something using some of their beautiful stamps. I started with an inky circle created with a Gelli Plate, then masked around the circle and stamped a mixture of Lavinia stamps to create my scene.

And with this theme there had to be some Butterflies, these are Penny Black ones cut out with the matching dies, a die cut frame and grasses stamped into the aperture with a stamp which is a huge red rubber one but I have absolutely no idea of the make.

And here are this weeks Chocolate Baroque shares from the Hochanda TV shows last month which focused on Steampunk, something I've always been a tad scared of but it's growing on me! All details of these makes are on my post which can be found here.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Abbracci!

Just love the intense colours on the first one - perfect for the silhouette.
Your second card is just inspirational, I must remember to do that for some of my trickier stamps! Lovely CB samples as always.

Love those grasses, whoever designed them - they're perfect for that card. I also love your gelli print and the choice of dandelion seeds taking flight - excellent. You always make something wonderful with your Chocolate Baroque stamps - simply lovely, and all for different reasons. Love the Tryptich, but I also love the underwater scene and the corrugated card.

A wonderful feast of creativity, Brenda. Hope you're all feeling much better.

Fabulous samples Brenda love the framed grasses and steampunk stamps. So sorry to hear about your hens and ducks can you not do something about the farmers dog killing them? We are down to two and both are currently unwell think they have the same thing will the other died of earlier in the year-they did advise to cull what was left but seemed a shame as they seemed well enough but now not so sure-we have said the same thing too---no more!!!
