A walk in the snow

Morning Peeps, a scheduled post as I'm having my first cataract op. Normally it's only necessary to rest it for a couple of days, but because of the nerve damage in both eyes I've been told to take a screen break for a week or two so afraid I won't be visiting for a while 😚

Kath is our host at Allsorts this week and her theme is 'Snowmen or Snowflakes' and we have a pretty Christmas Tree stamp for your winner.

Well as I don't own a single snowman stamp it had to be some improvised snowflakes. The image is from Crafty Individuals which I stamped with Versafine Claire and coloured with pencils, stamped a couple of branches and used glitter to add the snowflakes. The sentiment is an old Penny Black one and a mixture of dies used to frame the image.

Have a good weekend all.

Ciao Brenda,

Happy Advent to you, Brenda! All your cards inspire me, but that first monochrome floral creation really touches my heart (pun not intended). Such a great reminder of the Layers in our lives, that love is present in each of those layers, and that the beauty growing therein, comes from our hearts as we grow personally and within our culture. All those amazing words in the background, the gentle blue of the petals - the stenciling - it is all a reminder that who we are is so important, that constantly changing and growing is where love abounds, and that love will see us through every event and circumstance of our lives. It's really incredible - and your card speaks far more to me, Miss Brenda, but I shall save you from those words LOL big hugs, and a heart full of gratitude for beginning my day with this shining masterpiece! hugs, de
