Friends and some quirky Ken Moody artwork

Morning Peeps, time for our new Allsorts challenge and this week Lynn is hosting her first challenge since joining the team and her theme is 'Friends'. This weeks winner will receive some lovely Art Deco stamps.

Also below I can now share a few of my shares which showcased on Hochande recently for Kim Moody's latest release of quirky stampes which are now available to buy from Chocolate Baroque.

I decided on a tag, acrylic paints and crackle glaze, texture paste, gilding wax, Penny Black Butterflies, the largest stamped onto vellum and cut out to decoupage and a really old sentiment stamped embossed with detailed gold powder. I remember using this in a class many years ago and it was so popular with the girls and those visiting the shop that day that so many orders were placed that it cleared the warehouse.

Sadly it's long since been discontinued but I thought it very appropriate for Lynn's theme and also one that has come to mind many time in recent weeks whilst I have been struggling health wise and my team mates have helped me get through.

Your tag is absolutely gorgeous Brenda. Great stamping, colours and I adore that sentiment. I love how you’ve used the Kim Moody Stamps. The plaque was a great idea but my favourite is the next card. Superb stamping and I love the colours that you’ve used. The white embossing pops right off the page. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

Your butterfly tag is gorgeous, delicate colours and textures and, yes, a great quote. Gorgeous scenes with the new CB stamps, but then you had me at beach… Glad to hear things are getting better and if thoughts have any power, you have a large supporting crowd cheering you on silently! xx

All the pieces are so beautiful, but I'm very impressed by the wooden ones! You used the CB quirky stamps so cleverly on the ice-cream sticks, how dreaming scene! And such amazing colours!! Also the plaque is a delight!!! Great inspirations!

Good Morning, Brenda! What an amazing diversity of beautiful artwork! Firstly, my heart soared at every element in your pretty butterfly tag. My first thought was, "I wonder if that is a Penny Black stamp, and where can I get it." Then my sad face when reading it was old. I looked at etsy, but will contact Penny Black and see if they have one I can buy LOL So pretty! Fabulous little home decor for dreaming of the beach, and perfectly stamped and painted! Quirky, fun, and beautifully designed - each project is wonderful! Thinking of you fondly, hugs, de
