CAS Christmas

Hello Peeps, a super quick post, we've had no Internet for a few days, a potato harvester took out the telephone wire and pole......it's lovely living in the middle of nowhere but the downside is that everything is above ground so vulnerable in wind and storms and it seem when they are harvesting potatoes!!

I always schedule posts weeks ahead, so why oh why I changed the habit of a lifetime and left this one in draft I have no idea, so as the Internet is back up at the moment I thought to be safe I had better post my Allsorts creation for Ellie's 'CAS Christmas' theme and also my Penny Black and More and Stamping Sensations mid month pieces for tomorrow where our themes are 'Make Someone Smile' and 'Get ready for Christmas'.

Christmas card for Grandson and Girlfriend, I'm safe as this is the last place he visits

Hope you all have a good weekend.

Such pretty creations Brenda, they are all gorgeous but this time my favorite is the Christmas card you made for your grandson and girlfriend. Love how you stamped the scene inside the wreath! I need to search my stamp stash to see if I can create a similar card. Not sure I even own a wreath stamp!

Hope your internet gets fixed soon. All wires are above ground here, so we've experienced outage often when we have storms. Very annoying!

Both scenes are amazing and not just because of the glitter! The design inside the wreath, with the 2 rabbits on either side of it, is inspired. The last one is just beautiful, another lovely brushstroke stamp by Penny Black. Enjoy your Sunday Brenda. xx

Lovely, lovely cards Brenda. Marvellous scenes and I particularly like the wreath framed cabin. It always shocks me at how much we rely on the tech stuff although we kid ourselves that we can do without it!! Hope you are getting some better days xx

Beautiful CAS scene - love the glow. The rabbit one is also so pretty, a lovely frame for the image. Love the one with your fave PB sentiment too.

I love the colours on your middle card with the rabbits/hares. We have the problem of the telephone/Internet wiring all being below ground. It seemed a good idea when the houses were first built but our village has 40 underground springs underneath it and 35 yrs on the cabling is old and the mains boxes are constantly filled up with water which doesn't get a chance to drain away if we have a lot of rain. Poles are a lot easier to replace. BT are constantly coming out and fixing the lines but we dread them touching anything in the cabinets incase they break a wire whilst fixing another one. Hugs Mrs A.

Your scene cards are always delightful, Brenda, and these are no exception. I particularly like the one with the rabbits and wreath. The PB card is very pretty too, lovely colours and one of my favourite sentiments. x
