A Kaleidoscope of Butterflies

Good morning, today I am sharing our first post of November over at the Chocolate Baroque blog, full details of the stamps and how I made my pieces of artwork can found over there. The Hochanda shows were all about Butterflies and in this post I used stamps from Butterfly Daisy CollageHarebell ButterflyBrier Rose ButterflyArtistic Affirmations.

I also have a few photos of our holiday, we had beautiful weather and it was something of a culture shock to come back to near freezing temperatures.

Our villa was beautiful, it sleeps twelve so four of us (plus two dogs) were spoilt for choice when it came to choosing bedrooms. It is situated way up in the hills above Sant Antoni de Calonge, very quiet and peaceful with views of the sea from the turret rooms. And the pool was heated!!

George loves the water and especially the sea so thoroughly enjoyed himself but takes a good bit of persuading to come out once he's in. Leia on the other hand despite her size doesn't venture beyond a paddle.

Now more crafty samples.

My thanks as always for popping in today.

Some beautiful, delicate stamping here, Brenda. Love the middle one but they're all gorgeous.

So glad you had a nice break. I'm sure you needed it - lots of family time, I hope!

Great to see the dogs having a good time, too :-)

A beautiful collection of cards Brenda and wonderful pics from your holiday. After all of the sunshine you had it must have been cold coming home to the first real cold snap of the year.

Welcome back Brenda! I'm so glad you have had a wonderful vacation in Spain with your family and that the weather has been so good!!!
Here there were a very bad storm... Gasp, it was very frightful and made a lot of damages all around.
Loved looking at the black lab George swimming in the sea! :D
Your cards are amazing, the first one catches my eyes, how wonderful mix of stamps and dimensional flowers! The colours are so vibrant and sweet!
Love also the last two, more delicate! Fabulous masked wreath and love the wonderful Irish blessing with the wild flowers!
Big hugs!

Oh wow Brenda, such stunning cards, really each and everyone of them, the backgrounds all look so amazing!! And of course you always finish them to perfection!!
Great holiday photos too!

Sorry for my long absence, but as you have picked up, I was away from home too, visiting family and I took a blogging break, but back now, so look forward to more regular visits again. It was a real shock coming from Spring and lovely warm weather, to Autumn and here in Scotland it gets dark already at 5pm... Have a great weekend and keep warm! xx
