It's time for our challenges at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More where our themes are 'Anything Goes' and 'All Creatures Great and Small'. As always there are wonderful prizes to be won at both.
My starting point for my Stamping Sensations piece above was to create a Parisian background with Pan Pastels and stencils followed by stamping around the frame with Penny Black Magnolia Rhapsody, inking the stamp with Distress Markers and leaves from PB Natures Gifts. I stamped the lady image twice and paper pieced her coat and hat and placed her onto the scene, I did ground her with some darker PP but that doesn't seem to show up too well on my photo and she appears to be floating !
For this card I used the lovely new tree stamp from Penny Black called Stately, stamping once using second generation and then again to the fore using the first inking. Next I stamped the Deer and Rabbits from PB Natures Friends using black archival and added the background using DI's. A few leaves and foliage and finito.
And one final really quick and simple card, ideal if you have forgetten a Birthday, I repeat stamps the Butterflies stamp using two colours of DI's, stamped the sentiment onto a panel and added some flowers around the edge, matted and layered and done ! All three stamps are from Swedish House Crafts. I am popping over to the Snippets Playground with this one........if I dare show my face that is as I've been a truant for a few weeks so ready for detention from Miss Di.
I hope you can find time to join in our challenges this month and also pop over to the challenge blogs to see the inspiration on offer from my team mates, you won't be disappointed.

Three lovely cards Brenda, all very different in style and colours - my favourite has to be the middle one with the lovely animals in the peaceful scene - super! xxxxxx
Fabulous cards B, all three of them! Love the snippets make - great idea for a quick card (not that quick though if you're me I might add!).
It's lovely to see you in the Playground - and no detention, just delight that you called by. Did Parsnip give you a squishy hug? Or was he too busy posing in his shorts for the photo shoot which ain't gonna happen but I daren't tell him :)

Amazing scenes, love your paper-piecing in the first one, and the second one is my today's favourite, you know that I LOVE natural scenes with animals silouettes! The last card is just a sweetie, great choice of colours for these butterflies!
Here in Italy the sun shines, but too much! There is a very hot weather and there is the water shortage in a lot of place. Man is killing Nature, sadly...
Hope that you enjoy your weekend and your natural paradise!
Hugs
Fab cards Brenda, love the depth of the first one with the misty Paris scene in the background and you really do the scenic ones so well too, that's a lovely tree stamp by the way.

Three lovely cards and the scenic ones are great. I'd say that the favourite would be the quick and easy butterfly card although I do have a bit of a problem with 'random' sometimes but keep trying to relax about it.
Just like a long walk through nature Brenda, looking at your stunning cards!!
