Morning Peeps, a quick post with a couple of Chocolate Baroque shares following our twice monthly posts over at the DT blog where we aim to show ways to make fifteen minutes cards using the fabulous CB stamps.
One of my most recent CB stamp sets is the beautiful Springtime Edges and as I love that time of year decided to ink some of the stamps up and share an early hint of Spring with you.
For the card at the top I used the reverse side of a piece of Centura Pearl, added a mask for the sun and Pan Pastels to create a soft background. Next I stamped one of the Snowdrop images using black archival ink, added glitter to the flowers and a sentiment from CB Words of Inspiration.
For my second card I used the silhouette Snowdrop image from the same stamp set and stamped onto a background coloured with distress inks. The sentiment is from CB Glorious Spring stamp set.
Both of these cards were really quick and easy to make and well inside fifteen minutes proving you don't need to spend ages on a card and can come up with something really pretty when you are in a rush.
Thanks for popping in today.

Two beautiful CAS cards Brenda, this stamp is gorgeous. My New Year resolution is to get quicker at making and deciding on a card design, my procrastination is my downfall.

Really lovely cards. Hope you are doing well. Skipper is back home and doing well. So glad to have her home again.
Love so much seeing spring cards, it's my favourite season, with autumn. I'm always amazed by your pan pastel backgrounds, too, and this isn't an exception! Fabulous little snowdrops!! The silouette on the inking in the second one pops out very well! Two lovely cards, fast to make but very impressive.
Hope that you are feeling well!
Hugs

Wow Brenda, two beautiful cards. SUPER!
Have a nice weekend. Hugs Carola
Sorry I missed this. I'm doing catch up today. These are soooo very pretty! I love the silhouette! Then flowers are lovely and you know I love the scenes you create! I am ready for spring but not summer so I guess I have to brave the winter. We just had our first big snow but it will be gone soon. If it weren't for the subzero temps I would be fine. I hope you are doing well with the weather change as I know it can be a tough time of year when you suffer with pain. My prayers are with you always. Hugs, Robin
What beautiful stamps & I love how you've used them, Brenda!
After seeing these two and the one below I'm not sure what I'm craving most right now Brenda - the light bright days of spring or the lovely hot days of late summer, they're stunning xx
These are both lovely.
Whem those start to bloom, I am feeling a bit better; for me they say that spring is comming... Both look great! Hugs, Gerrina
It's easy when you are as creative and talented as you are, Brenda, but I don't think I could come up with anything as fabulous in the 15-min time frame! Beautiful cards, my friend!
Gorgeous! Snowdrops are my favourite bulb. I love how you can count on them to poke their heads through for some delicious blooms at the edge of winter!
