Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and this week Kath has chosen the theme of 'O Christmas Tree'. Our sponsor is Crafty Ribbons.
It seems to be a recurring apology just lately and again I am saying sorry for not getting to your blogs for a few days, still lots of pain and typing remains difficult and to add insult to injury the vertigo has made a reappearance. I am wearing my pain machine much of the time and as it needs to be plugged into the power supply I am pretty restricted what I can do.
Further down you will also find a few more of the samples I made for today's Stamp Addict shows on Hochanda TV, Sarah and Vicky will be on at 8am and 2pm. Also and rather belatedly, my mid month Penny Black creation, sorry I'm all behind teamies.
I don't have an abundance of Christmas Tree stamps, but I do have more than my fair share of tree stamps so I decided on a slightly different approach to the theme starting with the lyrics from the lovely German carol 'Oh Christmas Tree' which I printed onto a sheet of plain white card.
I then used an oval mask and coloured the aperture with Pan Pastels before stamping the scene using Hero Arts stamps and finally matting and layering with coordinating card. Please do pop over to the challenge blog to see all the inspiration on offer from my team mates.
Now for the Stamp Addict shares and you might remember I promised you there was a lovely Rose stamp being launched today, here it is..................
The background is Burushos, the Rose bleached out and then coloured in with Brushos. The sentiment is a new one as well and I know it is about red Roses, but I am using artistic licence here.
And one of two with the beautiful leaf stamps, the background of the one above is Brusho's as are the leaves cut from card coloured with the same, background stamping and sentiment also Stamp Addicts............loving Autumnal colours and inkiness this one is my real favourite from my latest batch of samples for Stamp Addicts.
And a Red Rose, Broshos again for both the background and colouring after bleaching out the flower and then decoupaging the main bloom. The sentiment looks a bit crooked but seemed alright in real life, now I wonder, the screen will tell me.
I shared the large Moose the other day, this is the identical smaller version.
Have a good weekend all.

A fairly quick and simple on for my Penny Black make, I used Distress Markers to ink the stamp, spritzed with water before stamping and added a PB sentiment and framed using TL dies.

The background fur this one is Distress Crayons, then stamped over with black archival.
And a Red Rose, Broshos again for both the background and colouring after bleaching out the flower and then decoupaging the main bloom. The sentiment looks a bit crooked but seemed alright in real life, now I wonder, the screen will tell me.

Hugsss, Gaby

I love your gorgeous Christmas tree scene Brenda, and the other wonderful cards as well especially the poinsettia and roses. Hope your Vertigo soon clears and the pain subsides too.

Don't worry for the missing comments on our blogs, Brenda!! They aren't necessary! Instead, we are so happy to can see your amazing works, they are always so inspirational!! How many cards you have made, despite your pain!! Anyone is wonderful!!!
Great sweet and delicate scene as always in the first one, love the delicate palette and the quote!
The card n°2 for the PB challenge is very impressive and festive with your "watercolour stamping" and I just adore the n°3 with these bright and vibrant colours, just perfect for that Amstrong song!!! Gorgous!
The cards n°4 and 5 look amazing with these warm autumnal tones that I always love. Great brushos background in the n°4 with the circles!
The n°6 for me is just perfect, the quote a bit on the edges looks great and the decoupaged rose is a delight, it pops out very well!!
In the last one I love very much the fun Mooses and expecially your so clever design: the paper lace with that string and the brads looks amazing, so feminine, elegant and modern, I have to remember this!!
I wish you a quiet weekend, with no pain and full of little sweet things.
Hugs
Just beautiful love love love trees your colours are fantastic. x
Lots of lovely inkiness and colouring, Brenda. I think scrAPpamondo sums it up nicely (about your commenting as well as your creations). I suppose we all know that life and health issues can get in the way sometimes. DH's bowel tests were just perfect, but the CT scan revealed a small spot on the lung, which means flying to Athens on the 28th for a PET scan and probably yet another operation. But again, we are grateful that we caught this at a very early stage...
Hope your vertigo pain and will subside soon. Have a good weekend.

You still manage to make lots of beautiful projects so you shouldn't be so hard on yourself! So many styles and so many beauties... Have a great weekend Brenda, take it easy with the comments, we know and we understand. xx
I'm really spoilt for choice here Brenda. I'm sorry to hear that you're still struggling with your health but your cards are just amazing as ever! I love the first card with it's beautiful tranquil scene, and the delicately shaded background looks fabulous. I love them all but my favourite this time around is the one with the Rose and 'Wonderful World' sentiment. I really like the colour palette of this card and the Brusho background makes the perfect backdrop. The Rose is gorgeous and 'Wonderful World is one of my favourite songs, so you've nailed this one for me Brenda, it's perfect! I'm just catching up in blogland today and I'm planning to make my Christmas cakes tomorrow, even though I'm though I'm a little later than usual this year. Take care of yourself. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
More beauties Brenda!
Rest up and no jumping off the sofa later!! LOL xx

So sorry you are in pain again, Brenda. And vertigo is horrible - I've had it twice before - it lasted 5 days each time, and I couldn't move from my lying position in bed without vomiting. Please take care of yourself! You've made some beautiful cards! I don't know how you manage it considering what you're going through, but you are an incredible crafter! Sending healing hugs and prayers your way, my friend!
The rosestamp looks beautiful on all the cards, but the blue one is my favorite... And no surprise that the purple/blue scene is my favorite of all the cards you show here. So many; you have been in your craftroom a lot :) And so much to enjoy for us :)! Hugs, Gerrina

Gorgeous selection of cards, Brenda. My favourite is the first one, what a fabulous scene! xx
Oh Dear, I'm sorry to hear the 'ills' are still not leaving you alone. Please, don't apologize for not visiting. I think we understand that when you are able, you will! It's amazing to me that with all you endure, you still can create such beauty, as in the cards shared in this post. I have to scroll back & forth to decide which I like best. It's difficult! Each is stunning, but I think I am in love with the leaves motifs. And I always love your serene landscape scenes with the marvelous soft backgrounds you create with the brushes. Take care, and prayers that you will feel much better, real soon! Gentle hugs & TFS.
So sorry your body is just not cooperating! Your cards are lovely, Brenda--the believe card is a stunner & I love the soft Pan Pastels of the first one!
Hope all is well! I don't know how you made all these cards! They are amazing. Please be careful and get well.

Prayers said here for a relief from your pain. I am very aware of how pain debilitates a person. I hope you get some releif soon.
Your first card is soa beautiful. I used this stamp for about 20 of my Christmas cards this year. Wish I had seen yours first as I never thought to add the moon and ink the oval. What a brilliant idea!
The second card is also a fave. i have that stamp on my Xmas list! IT is so lovely.
Your sheer volume of cards made speaks towards your ability to conquer ytour pain somewhat in order to still create. My hat goes off to you Brenda!
