Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts and this week Tracy Mouse would like us to 'Make a Start on Christmas'. Our sponsor is Let's Create.
My starting point for my card was to stamp an Inkylicious stamp four times to create a frame and the two Deer inside, then create the sky and land using Pan Pastels, a sun mask and torn paper for the hills. I added a few random 'bushes' using the tip of a tree stamp and the paper mask. Finally some birds and pearls around the frame. My teamies have come up with some super inspiration over at the challenge blog.
I am also sharing a few of my Tattered Lace samples using dies from the new Demure Collection which premiered on Create and Craft TV yesterday. As most of you know I just don't do cute but I have to admit I loved this little sweeties the moment I saw it. There is also a lovely new tri fold frame which I will share another day.
Happy weekend all.

Morning my lovely B. What a beautiful selection of cards, at first I thought, goodness B has way too much time on her hands, then I realised that what I thought was fussy cutting had been created with your TL dies. Stunning! X
Fabulous card with deers, beautiful scene.
Happy weekend;-))m

I love the gorgeous Christmas scene Brenda and the wonderful little tattered lace mouse (which just happened to fall into my basket yesterday). A lovely collection of cards.

Hi, Brenda! I always wondered how you posed your stamped images so perfectly in your creations, and I finally "get it". You actually stamped the deer first and THEN added the hills - after thinking about it, I wanted to knock myself upside the head for not getting it sooner LOL Better late than never, right? LOL I especially like the mist "ribboning" through your scene - it's one of my favorite wintry treats where we live. Around January or February, the ground is often warmer than the night air. In the mornings, ribbons of mist rise from the ground, so it resembles layers that some fairy must have magically put in place. Slowly, the ribbons float upward until there are no new ribbons rising from the ground.
And your little "sweeties" (as you call them) are truly SWEET in the darling settings you've created for them. The sentiment is absolutely true. It's hard to imagine people who live in cities and never really see greenery except for what might be growing in sidewalk cracks or on someone's balcony. Where do the birds go, and bees and butterflies? Your little mouse precariously latched onto his blade of seeding grass is melt-my-heart cute! Your other settings are equally cute, as is the lovely wreath. Thanks for sharing your pretties today! hugs, de
Lovely collection of cards Brenda. The mouse is so cute, I must try and catch these shows at some point. Your Christmas card is stunning, the stag is magnificent. Have a great weekend.

Thanks for popping by my blog so often, but please don't feel bad if you cannot always keep up. I know that life can get in the way sometimes. It happens to all of us.

♥Hugs Valentina♥
Beautiful selection of cards, my fav's as always are your beautiful scenes.
Four gorgeous cards Brenda. The little mice really do look fluffy. My favourite is the first. I love the twiggy border and the misty scene. Barbxx
What a gorgeous set of cards. Loving the twig border on the woodland scene, with the soft hills and 'grasses'. The pearls added into the twigs was such an elegant touch. Your style of 'cute' just fits what I love, as it's sweet, but not 'cutesy'. These little mice are just adorable, and so colorful too. Loving all the wonderful dies and how you've used them to best effect on each delightful card. Now off to see your earlier post, which I got a glimpse of yesterday, but didn't have time to leave a comment. Hugs & hope you're feeling well. TFS
I so adore the first card Brenda; the wonderful frame and the serene feeling of a Winter's day with the subtle stamping. The glory of Nature caught in a card. The Tattered Lace cards are gorgeous too, those dies are lovely.
Love and hugs
