Good Morning Peeps, I hope you are all having a good week. It's somewhat cooler than it was at the weekend but it was lovely to have a few warmer days and spend some time outside.
I have a couple of shares of samples I have been making for Stamp Addicts next show on Create and Craft, the date has gone back to 28th May, but the stamps are all available on their web site here under 'what's new'.
These stamps have been a joy to work with and I have been indulging in inkiness as well as Pan Pastels which is what I have used on both of these samples. The one above is called 'Hunting Scene Country Gent' and could easily be my Dad, although he never had a spaniel for hunting, always labs. I also used Stamp Addicts Poppy stamps on this one and coloured that and the background with Pan Pastels, then coloured the image with Derwent watercolours.
I have some sad news to share as well. As you will see from the logo here Sarah is closing her Pretty Little Ribbons shop and is having a mega sale of all her stock, you can go check it all out by clicking here as there are loads of bargains to be had.
I would like to enter the above card into:

This stamp is called very simply 'Farmland' and I have created a bit of a frosty day, again colouring with Derwents and Pan Pastels and some Judikins snow glitter. The image is so detailed you don't need to do a lot more to it. And this one into:
Papertake Weekly - Anything goes
Paper Playtime - Emboss wet or dry
There are lost's more to come which I will be sharing over the next couple of weeks.
Have a lovely day everyone and as always many thanks for your visits and kind comments.

What about Fergie, eh? as he would say himself, 'football, bl**dy hell!' time for the rest of us to catch up maybe while (looks like) Moyes settles in!!

What great stamps Brenda, love the first one, reminds me of years ago when OH used to go shooting. Lovely cards too. xxx
amazing cards!!
love the stamps that you have used. such a beautiful landscape and the huntingscene.
greetings
Both of these are delightful but it is the second that really catches my eye with the 'frost' & your combination of white & brown plus the embossed 'greenery' background panel with the brown punched sprigs/twigs. The soft greens of the colouring are a lovely complement & the buttoned twine a delight echoing the winter sun's shape.
In your first it's the shape of the die-cut image panel that caught my eye - in fact directing my eye in the direction of the dog's nose & the pointing gun & beautifully balanced by the stamped poppies & their red colour against the white. Goodness I've whitened & find myself wondering if I make sense to anyone but myself...........

Hi Brenda, Two more lovely cards - gorgeous poppies on the first card and the second could easily be one for your Christmas card stock. We are having gale force winds at the moment and it sounds like the roof is going to blow off at any minute, most unseasonal!! Take care, Pauline xx

Beautiful countryside cards, the first one brings back memories of my childhood haha, my dad's friend used to come out and shoot rabbits on our land, and my sister and i would stand outside screaming at the tops of our voices "stop shooting the rabbits" haha oh the good old days :D
