More dreaming

Good morning everyone, what's the weather like your way ? Still plenty of snow here and schools closed, all that said it doesn't take a great deal to bring the Fens to a standstill as they never touch the single track roads where we live so getting to civilisation is avoided unless essential.

Not too many visits from me the last few days I'm afraid, my MS is having it's seasonal hissy fit and the left side of me is not playing the game too well, so my comments are likely to be short and sweet. Roll on the warmer weather.

Stamp Addicts have two programs on Create and Craft today at 1pm and 6pm so I thought I would share a couple more sample I made, both of these feature the Ironworks background and Dream sentiments.

On the top card I stamp the Ironworks onto the base card using versafine and lightly dusted Pan Pastels over the top. The the lattice die is a Marianne set and I simply stamped the word onto the centre element and embossed with detail copper. The flower is a Spellbinder die and the little leaves and swirl come in the same Marianne set as the focal elements.

I randomly stamped onto the shaped panel of the second card using TH tea dye and Peacock feathers and embossed round the edge with Aqua Frantage. The leaves are Spellbinders, the hinge TH Alternations hardware findings and the rose made from five punched 1.25" five petal flowers.

If you still have snow do take care and keep warm.

Sorry to here the MS is giving you are hard time and hope we get some warmer weather soon to help you out a little.
Going to attempt to uncover my car and get out today. No gritting done down this side road and snow still about 5 inches deep on my bonnet. Oh joy!

Love the stamping and Panpastel on your first card and the flower and branches on the second. Great how you alter them to become something that looks like it came directly out of a (summer) garden! Stay warm and moving! Hugs, Gerrina

I must have felt my ears burning, Brenda. thank you so much for stopping by. I know what you mean about Blogger playing tricks!! Sorry I've been such a poor visitor too, life just gets in the way sometimes and I don't have as much blogging time as I would like these days.
Sounds like you have plenty of the white stuff. We did yesterday but the gritters have done a brilliant job and all the roads, even the small side ones are clear now.
Love your makes, I've been having a browse back and they are all gorgeous as always. I always find lots of inspiration when I visit you.
Take care

Oh dear Brenda, so sorry to hear you are struggling at the minute. Hope the sunshine makes an appearance soon right over your house!! I love your gorgeous cards. I think I NEED that marianne die. It looks so beautiful on a card. Thankfully we have only had one day of snow and it seems to be evaporating very quickly.

Sorry to hear you are not too well at the moment. This weather is enough to upset anyone, though. We are still trying to decide if we shall venture out tonight to visit our friends for a game of cards. Are we going to beat the snow on its way up to us again? Decisions, decisions. I am glad I am not the only one who can't get names right. I will answer to anything, as long as it is polite, so don't worry about it. Take care. xx Maggie

Both gorgeous cards Brenda, lovely colour combos and fab designs, have this die, made one card with it and never blogged it. A real pain when illness tells us what we can and can't do isn't it. Hope things pick up a bit soon. Carolxx

I so love the die you have used on that first card....so much detail. Two wonderful cards. Hope things start warming up soon for you. Our wet season has started this week. It is wonderful to hear the rain and very cosy. I know in a week we will be sick of it but now it is lovely. :)

Both cards are so gorgeous and I love the detail and colours you have used. Sorry to hear your MS is giving you grief, Brenda. I do tend to keep my comments brief otherwise the spelling and sentence goes all wrong. Also as my FM memory places tricks on me I forget if I have put a comment on, or I am sleepy. The main thing is that blogging gives relaxation and enjoyment. xx Flora

Gorgeous cards, Brenda. I especially love the stamping on the second one.
We still have a lot of snow on the ground and certain lanes are no go areas still, but the schools have now reopened, which is good and I am going to venture out today as we have no food!

As much as I like the blue and brown combo, your pink card is definitely my favourite of these two cards. Love the bold statement and CAS design.
Sorry to hear your MS is playing up. I hope for your sake that temperatures will go up soom and you will start feeling a little better again. After a sunny week with agreeable temperatures, our Greek winter is back with lots of rain and day temperatures of 14-16 °C. I guess it's still warmer here than in the UK, but your house probably is better insulated than ours.
