Don't the weeks roll by, seems it Saturday already again and this week at Allsorts one of our lovely new teamies Sarah wants us to layer up on our work.
I've used another of the lovely Vintage Ladies stamps from Flonz Craft, paper piecing the dress. The vocal image has been stamped and impossible detail clear, masked and then the background softly distressed and some random stamping with a music script stamp. A Tim Holtz clock cup on some coordination card, Spellbinder leaves, Sizzix roses and the stick pin made from matching beads.
I hope you'll join us at the challenge this week and look forward to seeing all your entries.
Have a lovely weekend everybody.

Beautiful card Brenda. Your colour choice is so pretty. Love the roses, bow and pins to finish it off. Michelle x
The combination on your card reminded me of a ball, many years ago in Swiss at a beautifull Hotel. The colors and the dancing couple would fit right in that memory...Have a nice weekend, hugs, Gerrina

... and must say I adore the poppies the top of this dear blog now- what a cracker - as a lover of poppies, I so agree! sent the card I made for your poppy challenge to my friend for a house warming :D so they are very cheery no matter where!
Did you know Constable used to make frequent sky studies? where he would take a note book and quickly paint many of varied skies around him- and he called this "skying". I read this next to one of his paintings in the Manchester art gallery was going to put this in my Conside the Clouds post, but already long enough, love and God bless, Shaz in oz.x
Brilliant ... Lovely card ..
Brenda the layers of this design all complement the dancers perfectly. The subtle background of music notes and the die cut clock dial all point toward the feeling of "dancing the night away"!

Love the elegance of your pin with the ribbon & flower evoking the sense of that era. The clock is a lovely addition giving the sense of both dancing in time/step with one another & the dancing of a bygone era!
