Taking a break from blogland

Hello to you all,

This is going to be short and sweet, as daft as it may seem I’m having difficulty holding it all together.

My MS has been on a downward spiral again the last week and eyes not good either, but the biggest blow came today being told that Buffy is terminally ill with only a couple of weeks left.

So I am taking a complete break from everything to care for her and then hope my own body will recover a bit.

Some may say only a dog, but she’s far more than that to me, she has always been my constant companion and as my eyes and mobility have declined my eyes and ears as well at times, we are in tune. She is my avater as well

I can’t say more, other than my DT work was already scheduled for the next few weeks so you will see those posts pop up.

I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles Brenda. I haven't been visiting much lately, but from the snippets on my blog list I did gather that the positive energy from your holidays seemed to be dwindling away again. I do hope your MS will stabilise soon.
I'm also sad to hear about Buffy's illness. I'm sure we all understand you want to give her the time and attention she obviously deserves. I know pets can give so much and ask for so little. Please take all time you need. I'll be sending positive thoughts to both of you and I'll be patiently waiting for your return to blog land...

I am so sorry to hear you and Buffy are not well, take your time and spend what ever time you have left with your baby. When I lost my little Bear I went into a deep depression that lasted for over four months. i was so heart broken and nothing anyone did could make it better. Finally I did get another dog and she is truly our baby. I would just die if anything happened to her. I am sending you a big cyber hug. Hope your MS will take a turn for the better soon.

Sorry to hear about Buffy, Brenda. And of course she's not just a dog, she's a much loved companion. One of the first things we did when we got married was buy a dog and in 36 years we've only ever been without one (or more) for a very short time. I hope poor Buffy isn't suffering although I know you wouldn't want to see her suffering just to keep her with you longer.

I'm sure it doesn't help that your own health isn't very good at the moment. I'm glad to see that you have some DT work scheduled but we'll still miss you.

Take care and looking forward to "seeing" you again when you feel better.

Hugs to you and Buffy and the rest of your doggies. I know they'll be upset too.

Kat xx

So sorry to hear, felt the same way when my cat of 14 years died a couple years ago ~ still miss him a lot, sometimes still feel him next to me in bed... He was such a good support to me too as my own health keeps me sitting at home for the most part. I don't think I'll get a new pet any time soon either, as it's so hard to loose one, kind of your 'baby' isn't it? Wish you both to have a treasured last moments together, and that yourself is feeling better in health ♥ hugs ♥

Oh my word Brenda, I am so sorry to hear about your health. And your poor Buffy. I certainly would not say she's just a dog. We get so attached to our wee pets. When my wee Nimbus took a severe reaction to her pussy cat injections, we very nearly lost her. I had her sleeping in the bed with me and Im not talking at the bottom of the bed! She lay on my chest for days and nights on end. I hope Buffy is able to live out the rest of her days pain free and peacefully. Im so sorry Brenda. Hopefully a few weeks break from blogging will give you the rest you need also. My heart goes out to you both and you are in my thoughts. Sending you big hugs. Lee x

I rarely comment on blogs, but I had to say how sorry I am about your doggy. I sometimes find people hard to deal with, but my pets are my world - they are so uncomplicated and unconditionally loving. Take the time to treasure each moment left with your doggy and I hope that when you return to blogland you are feeling better.
