A Passion for Flowers

Afternoon Peeps, what happened to the sun, it's been raining think the clappers here in the Fens since the early hours ? And  looking at the long range forecast it's not going to get much for before the end of the month, so basically typical Wimbledon weather.

I am pleased to report that Poppy is progressing well, she's still a hop along pup and acquired a lovely side kick with her poorly back leg as she darts about full of energy and despite her size thinks she is equally as big as the Labs and St Bernard.

Nothing new to share, so I am showing a few of the samples I made a while back for Ruth at A Passion for Stamps. All are paper pieced using a selection of her lovely floral images, it's the prefect way to use up scraps of DP.

I used various Nesties to create the mats and frames, some embossing along with offcuts of ribbons plus gems to embellish.

Have a good Thursday everyone and hope you weathers not as dismal as ours.

Another selection of gorgeous cards, Brenda. I love the colours on the first one.
It's been raining here again too. I hope the weather improves by next month as we were planning on having a BBQ for Martha's birthday and really, in July, it should be sunny.

Yes it's pretty dismal here in Buckingham too Brenda but that makes your floral beauties even easier on the eye! All three are lovely and summery but I think the pink and green one has to be my favourite with the scored and pearl-embellished panel. Vicky x

I am such a bad visitor Brenda, up to my eyeballs as usual and the old gallbladder is playing up again so bit slower on the pain killers lol. Glad I dropped by today though as that first card is stunning. The colours just called out to me and I love how you framed it. I absolutely love that first blue one with your neutral co-ordinating colour of stamped script. I keep coming back to your second, fascinated by the bottom leaf on the die-cut & seeing how you layered the paper pieced elements on top. Absolutely love your scattering of pearls & again the pale creamy brown neutrals are super with the pale green. That embossed panel with the pearls is lovely in the last sample & I particularly like your green scalloped surround for it.
Glad Poppy is mending.
