A Passion for Flowers

Good Morning Peeps, how's you week going ? Mine is all messed up and I am losing days, it's always the same with bank holidays especially this time of year as no sooner I'm sorted from one another comes along.

Two quick shares before I kick into work proper, both cards using stamps from Ruth's A Passion for Stamps and both making good use of my Spellbinders.

The Alstroemeria image on the top card was printed onto Fabriano watercolour card................I always used 300gsm HP.........and coloured with Derwent's and some Magnolia DP. The Crab Apple Blossom flowers on the bottom card are paper pieced with DP's from stash and on both cards I have used seam binding from Pretty Little Ribbons.

I am entering this into Pretty Little Ribbons April challenge 'To die For'.

Have a good Wednesday everyone.

Love the different styles of your cards Brenda: the delicacy of your first card with the fluttering butterflies and the rich colours of your second card.

Beautiful cards Brenda, I do like the way you put the die cut border behind the ribbo, could be appearing on a card on my blog soon!

Hi Brenda. I see that you are still busy creating such a diverse range of cards!! You really do amaze me at the range of different styles that you create - wonderful!!! Thanks so much for leaving me your kind comment. Don't worry I am definitely taking it easy and am not rushing back into things. At the moment my time is being filled with all the sorting out of all my crafting stuff - such a MAMMOTH task. It's amazing how much stuff you accumulate over the years!!! xxx

Terrific seeing the way you are using the ingredients - & I spent 20 mins looking at those art supplies (so useful knowing where I can get hold of the watercolour paper) - it was so quiet in the house my husband came to see if I was OK! The Moroccan accents border is gorgeous the way it ties in with the flowers but the second card is my favourite - that verse is super & I love the colours & your flower centres.

PS - I'm all at sea too.

I've been convinced it's Thursday all day today - despite the fact that if it was Thursday I wouldn't have been here this morning the first place. It's funny how bank holidays mess you up even if you're not a regular nine to fiver.Your cards are both beautifil and it's lovely to see the alstroemeria - one of my favourites.
