At Allsorts this week Nicola is asking us to 'Say it with Flowers', now there's an easy one for me !
The inspiration for the background came from Sue Wilson who I caught on C&C the other week making a lovely array of cards as she always does and I thought the idea of using strips of border dies was a great one. I cut six borders using Spellbinders Parisian Accents.............I think........I always get that one and Fleur de Lis muddled, so if it's not one it's the other, which I stuck to a piece of linen cardstock. The sentiment is computer generated and matted onto circle and picot edge Nesties. The photo makes the Spellbinder leaves cut on coredinations look a bit mismatched colourwise, but they blend quite nicely in the flesh. The roses are Spellbinder and Marianne dies, some seam binding, a stick pin and finito.
I do hope you can join in at Allsorts this week, I am thinking it might be a rather bust week with Mothers Day on the horizon.
