Good Morning peeps. hope you are all well this bright Tuesday morning, well at least it's bright here in the Fens, we still have several inches of snow and although it rained last night, the temperature plummeted to well below freezing again so the snow is hanging about.
You all now how much I love making scenes so could not miss the pull to create one for this months Create a Scene challenge where they would like to see 'Winter Scenes'. And this ones is my take on the scene I saw from my bedroom window so many times as a child, with my Dad, his gun and dog wandering off across the fields, when he would return at lunchtime with a brace or more of pheasants across his shoulder. Often I would go with Dad and we would sit for hours in a hide or in the spinney at the bottom of the back meadow waiting for the game birds to put up, with a flask of soup to keep us warm and not a care in the world, or at least it always seemed that way to me.
Stamps are a mixture of Art Impression, Stampscapes, Hobby Art and Inkylicious. I brayered the background with Adirondack dye inks cloud blue, denim and black and used Archival black for all the stamping. The fence is hand drawn.........every Country scene needs a fence in my world. The poem is computer generated and printed onto gloss cardstock........as the ink does not dry very quickly on the coated stock, I brayer the background before printing.
A little note about the blogger who has been compromising artwork which I posted about two weeks ago here. Please be assured that I am not ignoring the individuals and companies who have mailed me asking that I disclose the name of this person, but at the moment I am waiting for input from the company we both design for and this has been delayed due to CHA.
Have a good day everyone and thank you so much for dropping by.

Hi Brenda. I love this scene. Very good selection of stamps. You are a good drawer too. Wonderful are twigs with red "fruits". Have a great day. Lily Anuska
very gorgeous! I would love to learn how you made the background of blues and stars. :)
What a great scene! Our snow has just about all gone (I live in a cul-de-sac so my street is always last to clear - but it's manageable now!) so I am hoping I WILL get to Stevenage....
Gorgeous card! I like it!

Это настоящая картина! Красота!
Wow!! You are defintely a scene artista Brenda!! Your attention to detail is amazing and layout true perfection.
Thanks for playing along with us at Craft A Scene.. I look forward to seeing your future works of art as well.
Theft of artwork is common and the internet makes it so easy. The problem is that the web allows humans without morals to do what they want and be whoever they want. I hope you will be able to put an end to that low life and will be checking in periodically to get updates.
Hugs,
Sheree

Gorgeous scene, Brenda. You're a real artist for combining all these different stamps into such a peaceful image. It must be wonderful to have such fond memories of the times you spent with your father. You're right about the fence, too!
Hope you can get this copyright issue sorted out soon.
Beautiful card. Love the scene. Wish when I used my brayer that it looked like this.
Oh Brenda that is stunning I love it, the scene is so topical at the moment with all the cold snowy landscape. hugs Shirleyxxxx
What a lovely scene. TFS.
Wow, wow wow, wow, wow! This is just stunning Brenda, love the scene and card design You are one clever lady x
What a fantastic scene Brenda. Really topical just now. Hard to imagine but there's absolutely no snow here in this part of Aberdeenshire. Lots of frost and some mornings everything is very white with frost. We're just glad of the lack of white stuff and thinking how lucky we've been so far!
Take care,
Kat xx
This is a real beauty, especially with the background reality too. I love that fence & I have to confess you reminded me of time very long ago prior to my parents moving to the UK when I can remember the Swedish countryside where my Dad went cross-county skiing. I love the way you have picked out the red of the berries for the framing. The background for the poem is beautiful.
Take care
Paula (PEP)
Very nice!

Remembers of when I was a child at my grandparent farm house.
