Happy Saturday everyone, are you ready for a new challenge at Allsorts ?
Amanda is hosting this weeks theme and she would like us to be 'Clean and Simple' so I thought this one would fit the bill, it a sample I recently created for Stampalot using one of the new stamps from La Blanch called Wild Flowers here.
I masked a piece of Fabriano watercolour card and sponged three squares using TH wild honey and broken china, then stamped sections of the floral stamp with the masks still in place. The sentiment is a section of Penny Black 2695J.........to use a portion of a stamp I lay a post it note over the sections I don't want to use whilst inking.
Have a good weekend everyone and thanks for popping by.

This is a beautiful card.
I enjoy using that style on my cards but have never created one with multiple blocks I usually use just one.
Thank you for the inspiration.

Absolutely stunning Brenda and a great tip on how to take what you want from a stamp. Lee x (Ps I have a big blog candy give away on my blog if you fancy a wee peep) xx
This is beautiful Brenda, really elegant and I love the sentiment.
I've been a bad blogger this week but I've had a lovely browse round your beautiful cards just now. And I love the pics of your dogs. My two daft dogs often lie together in the one bed or in their cage. The only time the cage is shut is when they're at my daughter's. Last week when we left them there to go to a wedding her dog stole enough biscuits and hide chews to last 3 dogs for 2 nights while they were shut in the cage. Guess who's tummy still wasn't 100% on Monday?!

Wow Brenda, this is stunning, love the layout and gentle colours x
I like everything! The colours combination, idea to use the stamp partly and mask - GREAT, great result!
Thanks for the tip about using a post-it for blanking stamp parts whilst inking. I love the way you stamped different portions of the image within your inked sections - lovely interpretation of the CAS theme.

Just a quick comment because I am feeling soooo guilty ... haven't been in to see your work for a wee while but, as usual, it's all real bonnie. Love this card - simple idea but effectively executed, the colours are gorgeous and I love the sentiment. Elizabeth x
don't think it is too much simple you could use some colors and extra out pieces buttons etc.
