More Molly Blooms

Hello everyone, hope you are all OK and like me getting ready for the long school holidays. We are counting the days here and so looking forward to our holiday, it's going to be a bit of a mad rush as the children break up from school next Wednesday which leaves just Thursday to do all the final preparations and packing as we go on Friday.

My bone graft seems to be working and the pain is sooooo much better.......I even managed to eat some fish yesterday, what a change from soup that made I can tell you. I have been really good and kept away from my computer as the lack of postings confirm, but I shall have something a bit special coming up for you next week.......candy is involved but there's a bit more to it than that, but you will have to wait to find out exactly what's in store, otherwise it won't be a surprise !

I have cards for a few challenges, the first one is the card at the top of this post which is for this weeks Papertake Weekly who's theme is In the Garden. The stamps are Hero Arts K5313 silhouette ivy and Penny Black 4040K sparklers stamped with Hero Arts chalk ink grass and punch. The mats were cut on Cricut storybook, the DP is Doodlebug and the corners a Sizzix die.

My next card is for Everybody Art Challenge who have the theme Holidays. I have used Molly Blooms at the seaside, coloured with Copics. The circles are cut with Nesties and the DP is nameless from my stash. The swirls my favourites Sizzix die and punched flowers added.

The new Molly Blooms stamps are just adorable, they are beautifully etched deep rubber, stamp fantastically and are available exclusively from Sir Stampalot.

My last card is for the following challenges:

My Time to Craft is Butterfly Bliss
Tuesday Taggers - Anniversary

It's a pretty simple make, a card with matching envie. The main panel is run through the Cuttlebug, corners cut from a Sizzix die, roses made from burgundy paper and edges glittered with iridescent embossing powder and the sentiment Penny Black 3851E. And punched glittered butterflies.

Hi Brenda, it's catch up time for me this week, poor hubbys was packed off to work on sunday...Bless him, he worked so hard in the house on his week's holiday....I bet he's glad he's back at work now for a break...lol

I took full advantage of him...In the house cleaning and DIY sence...lol
Well can you blame me...He banned me from blogging for a week...He set me the challenge of living without blogging while he was home...I was good and only did it while he wasn't looking...lol

I did get a glimpse of some of your earlier post's but had to pretend to be doing something else when he was in the room..lol

Talk about hide the evidence...He's got my number mate, nothing's safe in this house, I was busted so many times...lol Never managed to get further than log on....

I did get a quick looksy of the post you made about your new house mate...Ahhh bless, I bet you can't wait till you make her a perminent fixture...I really would love another dog but everyone in our house have different idea's on that score...Our lady of the house is a miniture jack russell called Kip, hence my blog name, Pete want's to breed her but I don't like the idea...She's too tiny, and it would be too dangerous for her welfare so I keep changing the subject...I think she would make a great mum but I love her to bit's and won't take the risk....she's so funny, and a lady's dog...I can't go anywhere without her at my feet...As you know my house is full of men so it's great to have another gal on my side...If the boy's start teasing me she's evil...she get's so protective...bless...

I can't wait to hear more about your Daisy...I bet your champing at the bit waiting....

You don't hear from me for a week and then you get an essay...Sorry I digressed, totally loved your creations, I don't have a favourite because they are all beautiful but I will say I am swaying to the first because I have that stamp and just adore it, what you have done with it is class, it's timeless,I used it to make a cacti pot plant on a few cards...versitile or what....

Hope your on the mend now...I did cringe at the thought of a graft..was it painfull, I am a wus, give me a snake to hold or a scary movie over that any day...

x
Vicky
