Butterfly Meadows

Morning everyone, time for another challenge at Allsorts and this week Mervi is our host with the theme of Butterflies and/or Bugs. This week we have two prizes, a lovely Woodware Butterfly stamp from Craft Stash  and a craft stencil.

I really appreciate all you kind words, I know I'm a tardy blogger lately as I still can't sit for too long in one stint, but hopeful with the visiting physio mobility will improve......our eldest Grandson is getting married in two weeks and I am determined I am going to be able to walk from A to B unaided by then.

I'm showcasing a few older AALL and Create stamps today as I've not been able to do much with my new releases as yet, the links go to A&C's own web site where you can order direct.

Above from Key Botanicals onto an inky oxide background and a pen nib for the Butterflies thorax. A&C do lots of A7 worker sets which come in so useful, I've used Splodge,  'Reckoner Digits and the wire/line is from Patches along with Grungy Alphabet, an A5 set.

A second which is CAS by comparison to the one above, this time AALL and Create Through the Meadow, it's an A4 set with three good sized images. Stamped in black and some colour added to bring out the pattern with a sentiment and letter B added from the set mentioned above. And I picked out the little number element of the main image and stamped a second time onto inked card and placed over the original.

Enjoy the weekend and as always thanks for your visits.

A Summer Sunflower

Morning everyone, time for another challenge at Allsorts and this week I am your host with the theme of Summer. This weeks winners will receive a set of Stampendous summer themed stamp set available from Oakwood and three images from Ruth Hamilton Design

It's going to be another short post as it remains slow going here, been in bed on and off all week, a colon infection to add to everything else. But my new MS nurse seems very good and scheduled visits from a physio plus an ultrasound - at home, I had no idea that was possible. More help from her in one day than the GP in several weeks, he remains impervious and has failed miserably to offer any support.

Above AALL and Create Friendship Florals onto an Oxide background, some stencil work and A&C script stamped and embossed with detail copper EP and little birdies stamped onto a label.

My second card uses Ruth's new St Johns Wort, printed onto vellum and coloured on the reverse with Distress Markers placed around an oval with one of my own stamps in the aperture.

Have a lovely weekend.

Create Sunshine

Morning everyone, running rather late here, scheduled the mid month inspiration posts for We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations, I even did one over at River of Creativity to update everyone what's happening there, but alas, forgot my own.

It's going to be a short post as I have a new MS nurse coming in, not needed one for a long while but things are such it's necessary again, c'est la vie.

Above using the new Create Sunshine border stamp, Oxides, new Saltwater Taffy along with Cracked Pistachio, paper piecing and some washi tape.

This ones uses an older A&C stamps called Blooming Beauty and one of my own inspirational quotes which will be available to buy from C&C in the Autumn. My Christmas Magic and Christmas Season stamps released on Friday proved very popular (you can see some of them in my post below) and my thanks to those who told me they purchased them.

Keep cool everyone and thanks for your visits.

Christmas already?

Morning everyone, time for another challenge at Allsorts and Pauline has chosen the theme of 'Christmas in July'. This weeks winner will receive a £15 store voucher from Pearlywinks and there's a second prize of a super Sizzix seasonal die.

Before we went on holiday the new AALL and Create releases arrived, but going headlong into this MS relapse which is soooooo slow going....but at least I can sit up now.... means I've made just this one using the Robin and Nuthatch along with the Poinsettias from Joy Elements. A matching inset and envie to go with it.

As Miss Di and Sarn have also decided Christmas really must start in July, I am going to add the above to the Playground as the Poinsettias, Robin and sentiment were all stamped onto snippets and paper pieced (again our dear Kath comes to mind). But I'll be taking a good supply of ice, strawberries and my Nutribullet to ensure there are sufficient Daiquiri's on hand to keep things cool, Kath would have approved of that as well.

And following with the Christmas theme, as mentioned last week my new stamps were released on Create and Craft yesterday, Christmas Season and Christmas Magic both A5 sets available from the TV channel and Stamp Addicts, £14.99 and £16.99 mounted/unmounted respectively. Here's a few more of my samples from the show.

Have a lovely sunny weekend.

Allsorts of Animals

Morning everyone, time for another challenge at Allsorts and Lorraine (aka Lolo) has chosen the theme of 'Allsorts of Animals'. This weeks winners will receive a fun AALL and Create stamp set and another with would you believe these Horses!

A cautious return to my desk yesterday after spinal injections, the intense pain is subsiding but legs and left arm slow to re-gain strength. It's a bad relapse so have to accept it will be slow going and I have to say treatment has been no thanks to our GP surgery, even obtaining meds was like pulling teeth, it was 111 who came to the rescue, a story I know is echoed in many parts nowadays.

My card above was a Birthday card for eldest Granddaughter who inherited my love of horses......at her wedding last month, her Dad in his speech placed that one firmly on my shoulders.......what can I say other than guilty of getting her in the saddle at four!! And she went on to study Equine Husbandry at Cambridge, so not a bad outcome.

I used a mixture of stamps from several companies to build up the scene which I placed into an aperture and created an insert and envie to match.

I have samples for two different companies on Create and Craft on 15th along with the release of two of my A5 Christmas sentiment sets on the Stamp Addict shows, above a sneak peek along with one of the new 6x6 stencils also being released this week. The sentiments are a mixture, traditional and a few with a hint of humour.

Below a recycled bottle using transfers from Oakwood, this is one of the new releases in their shows, they are beautiful with a lovely Vintage feel. Here's a link to the last release which are already available to purchase.

Have a lovely weekend everyone and my thanks for you visits which much appreciated during the weeks I have been unable to blog.
