Morning everyone, I hope you all had an enjoyable Christmas Day. We spent it across the garden at eldest Daughters house, just eight of us and today I'm hosting 14, think I drew the short straw!
So being up well before dawn the chance to write a quick post before I head to the kitchen to get stuck in. Two cards for a couple of favourite challenges and thanks to Helen and Miss's Di and Sarn for all their hard work running both challenges for another year at Rudolph Days and the Snippets Playground. Would like to enter this one at Creative Knockouts Tis the Season and Ellie's Garden Party.
Above a simple floral wreath using all Lavinia stamps which on this occasion I'm not listing individually so I can get this posted and the necessary link ups done.
A while back I treated myself to some new unbranded dies from Amazon and this one came about on discovery of an age old mountain of Bazzil and bag of offcuts left from 12x12 sheets. The backing is MCS printed onto Premium Pure Print and the word is PB, a border die but I just used the word cut twice from the same Bazzil snippets.

Fleur is beautiful and sounds like she was a very lucky puppy indeed and im sure will bring you lots of love and laughter....and I bet you forgot how non stop it is having a puppy in the house....these immoral breeders should be put through the same they put these animals through!!!!!

Two fabulous cards Brenda. Lovely to see Fleur playing with Rosa. It looks as though she has settled in well. I hope you're resting today. I know after our big entertaining day I just don't want to do anything the next day!
Your floral wreath is such a serene and elegant design, beautifully balanced and full of that unmistakable Lavinia charm. The soft detailing draws the eye in so gently, and the whole piece feels wonderfully calm despite your very lively household at the moment. The second card is such a clever use of rediscovered Bazzil and snippets, and the layered word looks so striking against the printed backing. It is always inspiring to see how you turn forgotten supplies into something fresh and polished.
Thank you for visiting my blog throughout the year and for the thoughtful, generous comments you always leave. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a bright, happy new year ahead.
Two lovely cards, the and a great mix of stamps on the Lavinia wreath. Gorgeous pics of Fleur and Rosa, so lovely together. Hope your day went well. Avril xx
Two beautiful cards Brenda, the new dies are lovely, I'm sure you'll get plenty of use from them, the Lavinia one is stunning as always.
What a treat to see your photos of Rosa and Fleur, so good to see Rosa happy again and mothering the puppy- and Fleur looking so different from that little waif she was just a few short weeks ago- they definitely needed each other.
Been full on chaos here until today- a lot of fun but exhausting. So good to get out for a walk with Marv earlier- seem to have been indoors forever!
