Morning everyone, another Saturday and a new challenge at Allsorts where Mervi would like to see Hearts and of course there's always the A/G option. Prizes come from AALL and Create and Lavinia and will go into the draws on 23rd February.
I've used a stamp from the same set as my last post AALL and Create Forget me Not (896) along with the little birdie and nib from Quill Ends (908). Zestly green and yellow Oxides onto a masked background some background text stamping and word from Power of the Word (754).
Cages were empty, hospital lists chockablock so April it is unless there's a cancellation! Am so frustrated but did make a card.....well sort of.......using ready cut and decoupaged TRR flowers, all the work was already done so not really card making but looks pretty'ish to use shortly. And a new voice programme for typing seems to be an improvement of the previous one.
Thanks for your visits and words of encouragement, they help a lot and appreciated.
it's a beautiful card Brenda....gr karin
ReplyDeleteThe stamping really stands out against the vibrant inked background - lovely result. Fingers crossed for a cancellation at the hospital 😉
ReplyDeleteA beautiful vibrant background and stamped images Brenda your cards are always inspirational. So sorry to read that it may be April before you can have your procedure, the announcement of further strike action by junior doctors must add to your frustration.

Gorgeous card Brenda- the black images are so striking against the amazing citrus colours of the background.
ReplyDeleteSo frustrating to have to wait so long for the procedure cancelled through no fault of your own...kudos for your determination in making a card despite being one-handed, keep your chin up!!
xx
I love the fresh green color on this card. Very eye catching and let the silhouette pop on the card. I hope you can get your procedure soon.
ReplyDeleteLovely card Brenda. not colours I would think to put together but love your result. sorry to hear your appt has been put back to April. I am awaiting a new appt as I had to cancel the one in Dec due to having covid. they did tell me February but not heard anything from the bookings team yet. I guess I have gone to the back of the queue again. Hugs Mrs A.
ReplyDeleteThe bright green and yellow colors make a fabulous background for this beautiful silhouette image. Very pretty card. What you're going through seems to be the norm for everyone in this day and age with health care. Sending heartfelt hugs and best wishes for an early cancellation so you can proceed with what needs to be done.
ReplyDeleteThe floral heart looks beautiful on that vibrant background, so nicely done! Good to hear the voice program is working well for you to help with blogging. Hopefully a spot at the hospital will open up sooner.

A beautiful card Brenda and a perfect colour choice with the silhouette from your fabulous stamp. Beautifully embellished too. Sorry to hear that your treatment has been delayed, it's frustrating when you are counting down those days, only to have it set back.Take care, Michelle xx
ReplyDeleteHoping you are able to get an earlier appointment B.
ReplyDeleteLOVING this bright, vibrant card with the little bird & quill embellishment xxx
ReplyDeleteUna card così vibrante e luminosa, davvero impressionante!!
Never Give Up!!!
Un forte abbraccio!
Love the bright yellow and green with your black silhouette stamp, Brenda.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your procedure cannot be done any sooner.
Sending love and light,
Marianne x

Dear B. Stunning card and great cheery colour combinations too. Well done...
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry it's a April date but will pray maybe a cancellation, and also that when it's done it's done well...
A saying I learnt years ago, God's delays are not God's denials. There's often a very good reason for them that we cannot see, only He can. That's why it's called faith... trusting simply trusting all along the stormy way as the hymn says.
Praying for you each day and right now too (after 4am Downunder), for God's keeping for you in all things medical.
Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well for 2024!
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x

Beautiful card Brenda love the stamps and the fabulous zesty colour background.Fingers crossed for an early cancellation. I actually managed to get a medic visit(not a DR notice)out yesterday to John as he had a bad infection in one foot and gotr no-where after ringing the chiropodist last week she checked both and the other was worse-bad infections in both feet and serious as he has diabetes-no wonder he was staying in bed! Then I had a fall last night one thing after another.
