Timeless Poppy

Hello all, a non scheduled post, but still several scheduled ones in the pipeline till normal service resumes.

From my files for Snippets Playground, Gelli Plate background, Penny Black Poppy, Lavinia script, Butterfly A&C and photo below of my snippet. Also adding to Try it on Tuesday's Circles and backgrounds for Little Red Wagon.

Things were going well, then a kidney, followed by diverticular infections kicked in which was always a risk. But just got the OK for up to hour a day computer/crafting time to test the water with another MRI and consult next week, so prioritising is going to be a challenge but hope to do a few short blog visits.

Here's a few photos of what's in bloom this week.

Potentilla with Bee collecting nectar, below yesterday there were 37 Poppies in bloom, but couldn't get all in the photo angle, as they continue round the tree, it's a spectacular year for them.

Below, Pyracantha, Peony and first of many to come Lupin's.

Huge Rose, as big as my hand.

Thank you all for your continued visits during my absence, they are so appreciated.

Love your card Brenda, very beautiful.
My peonies have been and now gone for this year but my roses are blooming like never before, they actually look like cabbage roses and the scent is devine, yesterday a trip to the garden centre proved to be rather expensive but I have replaced my lupins and some red poppies I lost along with lots of bedding out plants for my baskets, I am dying to get them planted up today. Thankyou for sharing your gorgeous garden again. xx

Your poppy card feels so elegant with the soft Gelli Plate background setting off the beautifully stamped Penny Black bloom, and the delicate script and butterfly add such a graceful touch while the whole design has a serene, airy feel that pairs perfectly with the lovely garden photos you shared.

A wonderful card Brenda, and another super walk around your garden. Our roses are putting on a lovely show this year which has eased the pain of losing clematis montana earlier in the spring. xx
