Himalayan Poppies

Morning Peeps, a really quick post with my mid month shares for Penny Black and More challenge, still rather slow going on the recovery and energy levels zilch, so please forgive for the lack of detail.

The above card uses 'Spontaneous Joy' which I can say with total assurance is my new favourite PB stamp, I absolutely love it and the fact it is Poppies is a sheer coincidence!

This one used a real oldie called 'Twirls', love the classic black and white with yellow.

I also have rather belatedly a few of my CAS cards which featured on the Chocolate Baroque blog a couple of days ago.

Have a good Wednesday all, if you are in the UK then maybe we will see the promised sunshine, oh what a change that will make from all this rain and cloud. It's so wet here still that the horses have not been able to go out for over a week as the paddocks are saturated.

  7. Such beautiful cards Brenda! Those Penny Black florals are amazing and so fun to create with!
Also loving your Chocolate Baroque makes, they have some beautiful stamps as well and and you created such wonderful cards with them!

Happy to hear you're expecting sunshine. We're having another winter weather forecast here today, not sure what's up with spring this year, but at this point I am ready to move somewhere without winter months...

  8. Very cruel of you to use a PB floral stamp I don't (yet) have, Brenda, lol. It's beautiful - as are all of your cards. I love what you did with the swirls - very striking design!

    Beautiful.

  15. Those poppies in the first card look AMAZING, Brenda!! The image seems an old painting, such fabulous stamp and design! The black and yellow card is gorgeous, the twirls are so movement and the bow is just precious! Love also all the quick cards for CB, I admired them on their blog and my absolutely favourite is that one with the grid block, such clever technique and lovely background for those butterflies!!
So sorry you aren't yet feeling well...:( I wish you a speedy recovery!!
Qui adesso c'è il sole e improvvisamente fa molto caldo, anzi, troppo caldo per essere soltanto Aprile e poi c'è tanta umidità!
    Chissà se durerà... Pazza primavera!

It's a good time to lay on a sun lounger in the garden to rest whilst topping up your vitamin D...

  26. Each and every one of these is gorgeous but the poppies just win by a nose!! You are not alone Brenda, we still have the squelch factor underfoot and Surprise has the knack of finding the squelchiest patch to roll in, hence one very muddy pony indeed!! She knows I love grooming (mouth full of horse hair) and is only trying to be helpful....yeah right!! I hope the good weather speeds your recovery a little xx
