Morning Peeps, this weeks Allsorts theme is hosted by Helene who would like us to use 'Pearls' on our work. Our sponsor is Marianne Designs.
Pleased to report that my CT scan date has come thought, it's not for three weeks but at least before our holiday which was in doubt after the events of the last few weeks, but two doctors said they saw no reason why not and would send me off with extra meds 'just in case'..........excess baggage coming on I fear.
Mrs A suggested this will fit the current Butterfly Challenge, I think I've only got the Butterfly and colours but as I've not entered for some time am linking up.
A very simple card from me this week using one of my favourite Penny Black Brushstroke stamps which I inked with Distress Markers, spritzed with water and stamped onto a piece of Bristol Vellum Cardstock. A little bit of blue shading around the image, some ribbon and pearls and finito, these cards really are so quick and easy to create as the wonderful artwork of the stamp does all the work.
Happy weekend all and please do pop over to the challenge blog and see all the inspiration my teame mates have to offer.

Beautiful card and great news. Have a great day.
ReplyDeleteClean, elegant and beautiful, pure Brenda this one! Today is looking to turn into another beautiful "summer's day" here and I'm looking forward to warm up my old bones away from the craft room for once! xx
ReplyDeleteGorgeous stamp, I think it's quite versatile for any occasions. Lovely card! No sunshine yet, it rained the hole night, but soon I'll go back to the garden to finish the bushes I started to cut yesterday.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend;-))m
A gorgeous stamp and card Brenda , I don’t have much luck with this technique but what do they say practice makes perfect, I don’t know about perfect lol.. pleased you got some good news.
ReplyDeleteHugs Babs x
It seems that you could have your holidays without too much worries... Enjoy your days and the wonderful voyage, Brenda! In Italy this week the sun shines so much and it's very hot: there are 30° Celsius and people goes to the beach.... But the meteorologists say that the next week temperatures will go down to 20°, as a normal Spring might be...
ReplyDeleteYour card is a delight and looks as a beautiful picture! Love the blue tones and the pearls make it very elegant!
Big Hugs!!
Absolutely gorgeous! Love the colours! Hope you have a lovely weekend xxx

Amazing stamping and a perfect take on the theme this week.
ReplyDeleteSuper card Brenda, glad you are able to go away.
ReplyDeleteThe glad on my pics is not filled with glitter. I went to a class to decorate a glass and, as I don't want to drink from it, I use it for pics. It is glitter stuck on the glass with clear glue then I sealed mine with decoupaged glue, xx
gorgeous and elegant card Brenda

ReplyDeleteGorgeous card Brenda, lovely stamp and the image really stands out agains the subtle background.
ReplyDeleteSo pleased to hear that the holiday will be able to go ahead even with the excess baggage, it did make me smile with the 'just in case' and your mention of 'excess baggage' which would be just in your case, ok not that funny but it was in my head.
Have a lovely and healthy week.
