Morning Peeps, a really quick post with my mid month Penny Black and More shares, we are off to Cambridge today for Azarias Graduation....................it's throwing it down so really hope it soon eases off as all those youngsters as well as us guests are going to get drenched hanging around for the couple of hours between robing and the ceremony. Will share some photos later in the week.
I had a delivery from Crafts U Love this week with stamps from the new Peaceful Winter collection by Penny Black, Paula had them available for immediate shipping. So I made a quick card using a couple of them 40-567 Restful and 40-558 Snowy Village along with a sentiment from 30-429 Happy Wishes. Stamped simply with Versafine black and coloured with Pan Pastels.
My second card uses 3819D Polka Wings, 4184K Rosa, 30-419 Happy Wishes and 40-546 Dancing Daisies, inked direct to stamp with Distress Markers and spritzed with water before stamping.
As I said a really quick post...................and it's still pouring !

Fabulous cards Brenda, you can rely on Penny Black for beautiful snowy landscapes and watercolour flowers... It tickles me that you get the stamps from my local craft shop (the last brick and mortar one that is). I hope the graduation ceremony wasn't too wet, and you enjoyed the big moment!

ReplyDeleteI love your first card . I have just been following the videos to go with this stamp launch and had a go at making my own scene. I didn't have the right stamps or inks (I do now,! ) but I was pleased with the card I did make. Hope your trip went well and your now home in time to vp batten down the hatches for storm Brian to hit us sometime tomorrow. Hugs Mrs A.
