Morning Peeps, the first Monday of the month so time for our February challenge at FlonzCraft Vintage Stamping Challengese where this month 'It's a Man Thing'.
I made this card before hospital 'just in case' and my Mojo was MIA at the time and it's not particularly Vintage but we always say on the challenge blog that entries need not be Vintage, so I hope this may encourage some of you who perhaps aren't into that style that you can still join in.
I used an oval mask and stamped through it with the FlonzCraft Etched Ship and created some sky with Pan Pastels. The sentiment is also from FlonzCraft..........their sentiment sheets have quite a few different ones on them so great value at just £3.60 per sheet. The individual stamps are equally good value and most £1.80 each......how many places can you buy good quality stamps for that price ?
So do pop over and take a look........their postage is also very reasonable despite them shipping from New Zealand.
I also have my weekly Prickly Pear share and this one is using both sizes of the gorgeous new Lily stamp, I love this one and you will be seeing a few more pop up with this stamp. I coloured this one with watercolour pencils.
Hope you all have a good week.
Beautiful again.

Two more smashers Brenda, the "man" card reminds me of my Paternal Grandmother, she had a ship in a bottle on her sideboard that looked just like this!! Love the fabulous colour you have chosen for the Lily stamp too. Have a good week xx
ReplyDeleteOhhh, that is lovely. I'm really fond of nautical themes, and I love the dark & yellow together! The Lili card is also lovely!
ReplyDeleteI've been meaning to try Flonzcraft for a while...Must get round to that! x
Wow love that sailing ship and it looks great in the oval
ReplyDeleteLovely cards Brenda, love the image on the first one and the second so gentle and pretty. xxx
ReplyDeleteWow - that saling ship is a cracker of a stamp and you've created a lovely scene for it. I've taken a note of the Flonzcraft site and will check out their sentiments later.

ReplyDeleteSue xx
your both cards looking beautiful!! the first one i like that....so beautiful scene. great clouds and moon/sun
ReplyDeleteOh wow Brenda, love both cards but the Flonz craft one really captured my eye. It may not be vintage particularly, but it is stunning (I think anyway). I love the sky in the background of that beautiful ship, the subtle clouds with the sun just lightly peeping through.
ReplyDeleteThe lilly is gorgeous too though, and great to have the same stamps in two sizes... Is that gorgeous green background a paper or did you create it yourself? Love the bits of text showing through on that!
Both are beautiful Brenda. Love your sky in the first - you are so talented. Nicola x
ReplyDeleteI really love your masculine card, a perfect design. Very pretty Lillies too.

The lily is rather super isn't it? Your border strip echoing the main image looks brilliant & I love the little gems which really just bring a super sparkle to the whole. The first is a beauty too - vintage enough in my book with the image itself. Super sense of movement especially with the birds flying out of the masked area!
