It is time for me to share my second piece for the month at Craft a Scene challenge were our theme is troubled skies.
There are lots of ways you can depict a troubled sky, but for me it immediately said lightning, initially I found it difficult to get the lightning to show up but after the fourth type of white pen it eventually worked reasonably well.
Stamps used are a mixture of Art Impressions, Andy Skinner, Inkylicious, Chocolate Baroque and Memory Box and all colouring and shading has been done with Pan Pastels.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday everybody.
Great piece of work, Brenda! Your lightening is "lightened " up on this scene!

Great card Brenda. Love how you've shown the lightning part of the storm. We certainly had stormy skies here today. No thunder and lightning just rain, lots of it. Hubby and dogs got pretty wet more than once. Still as you know most Labradors don't mind the rain!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to do anything but Christmas cards just now. I got a few done yesterday and I think I'm up to 89 now. I'd like to get up to 100 before I think of the family ones! So I'd best go and do something useful.
Take care,
Kat xx
