Allsorts challenge 41

Emma has chosen the theme this week of creating something for Mothers Day or for someone who is like a Mother to you.

My creation is a stationery wallet for my future daughter in law. I made one last Autumn for my other daughter in law, that time using seasonal colours, so this one have given me the perfect opportunity to use some nice fresh spring and summer colours.

I created the folder with a sheet of fairly heavyweight cardstock, probably 350gsm, covered it with some the my new Kaiser DP's plus a pink spotty one from Polkadoodles new Paper Boutique CD which matched really well. I find these CD's really useful for matching one paper to another.

The flowers are all stamped using Hero Arts CL375 Big Flowers onto the reverse of the Kaiser DP and the spotty one. The border is Martha Stewart embossed scallop on the outside, douple loop on the inside and the flower stem a Sizzix swirl die cut through the Big Shot. The notelets and envelopes in the inside pockets have all been stamped with different floral stamps and some also embossed with Cuttlebug folders.
