Morning Peeps, thought it was time I ventured back to craft land and I'll admit it's only because of a timely prompt by Val with her Rudolph Days card so thought I had better get something made.
It's just a simple snowflake wreath using Lavinia stamps for the wreath and little house from Inkylicious along with Versafine Clair inks. Sentiment from my own Christmas Season sentiments. The current CRAFT challenge is Christmas so am linking up therCe. And I thought this just might fit Creations in Pink as all inks were shades of pink and Farmquest Christmas. Just had a nudge from Greta to pop over to Christmas Kick-start challenge so had to oblige.
I got home from hospital early for 'good conduct' on the understanding I rested, I did/have and now wait to see how the treatment has worked. Holly is cheery, a very poorly chest as some stitches burst and too risky to anaethetise again, so daily bathing and tending, but eating and tail wagging so can ask for no more as we continue a day at a time.
A lovely idea to form a wreath from snowflakes, the perfect surround for the lovely cottage image. Sounds like good news about Holly, she's certainly being well cared for. Happy Rudolph Days
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and stamps, love the snowflake wreath and colours used. Good news about Holly and always a good sign when they are eating. Hope the treatment worked and make sure you rest and take care.

ReplyDeleteBrenda: so glad to see you're sharing your talent at FQCCCB! It happens to be that pinks and purples are my favorite colors! So my eyes instantly perked up and I felt me eyelids and eyebrows go up!! :) Perfect pairing of stamps from 2 different companies! Beautiful wintry scene Christmas card! Thank you! -- Becca
ReplyDeleteThis snowflake wreath is such a delicate and dreamy way to frame the cozy little cottage—there’s something so peaceful and inviting about the scene. The pink tones give it a soft, magical glow that feels both festive and fresh. It’s lovely to see you creating again, and I’m glad you’re home and resting. Sending gentle thoughts for Holly’s healing too—tail wags are always a hopeful sign.
ReplyDeleteI would never have thought of using pink on a Christmas card, especially on a landscape scene but this is fabulous... I love the multi-coloured inking on the house stamp... don't be surprised to see something similar on my blog soon!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back and Holly is better, fingers crossed everything works out. x
A really beautiful card as always Brenda - you make such lovely scenes with your stamps.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining me at the Rudolph Days Challenge.
