Morning to you all, this week at Allsorts Liz would like to see Sympathy or Get Well cards and of course the Anything Goes option. Prizes come from Craft Stash and Highlight Crafts. We have an important note on this weeks post which we ask all entrants to read.
I've used a MCS background and simply stamped the blooms using mini distress inkpads direct to stamp along with a spritz of water and sentiment which is Penny Black.
Below another simple one again using MCS (Highlight Crafts), image printed twice, oblong dies to cut aperture's on one, foam pads to the back and lined up over the second image and a few Swarovski gems.
Short post, had shoulder and head nerve blocks Wednesday and back in for the re-scheduled Kidney op Wednesday, such a glamorous life I lead.

Your handmade cards are absolutely stunning! The use of MCS backgrounds and the technique of stamping blooms with mini distress inkpads and a spritz of water create such a beautiful effect. The Penny Black sentiment adds a lovely touch. The second card is equally impressive. The way you’ve used oblong dies to create apertures and added dimension with foam pads is so creative. The Swarovski gems are the perfect finishing touch.
The first card with the matching envelope is gorgeous and that 2nd card is just stunning with the perfectly matching overlay design! Amazing cards! So sorry you're dealing with pain and nerve blocks and then more kidney issues later on this week. Sending heartfelt healing hugs and best wishes your way for getting back to a pain-free life quickly.

Just noticed your comment on my Penny Black card. The die has not been retired by Penny Black, it's the owner of online shop "PB Stamps" (they used to sponsor Penny Black and More challenge a long time ago) who is retiring, so he had marked everything down in his shop.

Beautiful cards Brenda and I love your clever aperture idea. You brought a smile to my face about the gin. We made a wonderful discovery in Aldi this week a mulled spice gin liquer, it's delicious and I'm not a fan of messed about gin usually!! I have everything crossed for you xx

Hi, B! I smiled at your use of the "glorious life" phrase at the end of your post. I truly do understand, although you seem to have just about every little thing plaguing you as time marches forward. (Please send Mr. Murphy - of Murphy's Law - away!) May I also please thank you for the impact you've held in my little life. In utter humility, I thank you for being one of the kindest, dearest, most caring and authentic individuals I've ever met. You have given me strength on many occasion. Brenda, I think of you nearly every day, reminding myself of your essence, and of others who find themselves in your position. I had something similar to your nerve blocks across my back and cervical areas in 2023. We call them RFA (radio frequency ablation) here. First I went through four procedures of the nerve blocks to see if the procedures would be effective, and then the longer-lasting RFA. The RFA was guaranteed for 4-6 months, but BOY AM I LUCKY! It's been 17 months, and they are still keeping the bulk of my body pain at manageable levels, enabling me to walk a little, and do some other movements I otherwise would not be able to do. I can usually even shower without assistance again! I hope your nerve blocks prove to be just as successful! As for your cards, I am absolutely in love with the yellow blossoms. Your design is lovely! The direct to stamp technique is one I have forgotten and looks fabulous on your slim line creation. Wishing you beauty in the days ahead, my friend. Love, de
