Autumn hues

I just had a timely prompt from Hilary that today is reveal day for Card Chain Challenge, so it's a quick post to share, afternoon and energy fading, I guess things will improve!

My card went to Lyneen in Washington, although she told me this morning it's not arrived - posted on 8th August, bizarrely, the one for this month sent to Greta in Oregon has arrived already.

A stencil created on the Scan and Cut, Twila, Shadow Bloom and Bumblehums from the Sunbloom Collection following the months colour palette.

This one is for the new Lavinia challenge and uses Pheasant, Wild Hares, Oak Branch and Leaf Spry, the theme this month is Autumn Hues. The Path of Positivity is back after their Summer recess and I am popping there with this card.

  1. Two gorgeous cards Brenda, those Bumblehums are so sweet and I love the beautiful Autumn scene with the Pheasant, one of my favourite stamps.

  2. Two lovely autumnal cards - it is certainly starting to feel like autumn weatherwise. Love the way you made a sort of semi-frame for the first card and the layout of the second one is very effective.

  3. Two beautiful designs Brenda! You card chain card is so pretty with the bees buzzing around your tall stems and the fairy joining in their fun! My card sent to Mia in Greece has not arrived yet and I mailed it on Aug 8th from the US... so frustrating! I love your fall scene with the oak branches crossing in front of the sun too! Julia xx

  10. I love the colors you've used in the fairy card and the card is so original and almost haunting. Fab card. I love your stenciled card too - the colors, again, are perfect. So glad you joined us over at Morgan's ArtWorld. We hope to see you again.
