Allsorts 800th challenge

Morning everyone, this week sees our 800'th challenge at Allsorts so we are keeping the theme simple with Anything Goes. To celebrate the milestone we have a few extra prizes from AALL and Create.

I've gone bright and zesty with the above card using AALL and Create Floral Flyer (1171), Wiggle and Dance (1174) and die Heart Marks the Spot (46). I cut the base die twice in black, scored one about a third of the way down and glued the two together to create what I think is called a tent fold (sure Liz can tell me). The Butterflies are stamped and coloured, glitter added to the thorax and coordinating rub ons (8) used to create a quick background

This uses one of the new Lavinia sticker stencils and stamps, this stencil is in set 8 but if you buy the bundle of four stencils you also get the stopper stamp. After inking the bottle with Versafine I stamped Leaf Spray in the background, Group Poppies in Orange and lower down Wild Poppies with grey ink and then painted over with white acrylic, an idea I saw a few places on Pinterest. I continued stamping outside the bottle and added Every Dream sentiment.

Kidney op update, it's becoming a work of fiction! Cancelled again, this time because my BP wouldn't play ball, White Coat normal for me in a medical environment but usually settles, not this time. Sent off to GP (shocked to get two face to face appointments in three days), he's reluctant to change meds as they control it (usually). So appointment Monday to see where we go from here as it's become urgent they say.

Two very different cards colourwise. Both works of art but my favourite is the gorgeous soft palette of the second. Hope all goes well for you on Monday x

I just love this green and black beauty with the hints of blue. The wonky card base is fabulous and all the details are amazing. Loving that 2nd card too with the sticker stencils and stamps. Both are fantastic. I have white coat syndrome too and my b/p soars every time I have to go near a doctor or medical facility, but rapidly settles down after I leave so I understand this. I do hope things soon work out for you with good results. It's no fun being frightened all the time with bad news, delays, and repeated roadblocks. Take good care and congrats on 800 challenges, wow!

Oh no Brenda, can't believe your op has had to be cancelled. I'm not at all surprised your BP is high after all you've been through, hope Monday goes well.
Both cards are beautiful, wonderful vibrant butterflies, love the jar of flowers on the second, beautiful stamping, stencilling and colours.

Oh my goodness Brenda . . . these are both amazing and so different from each other. Love how you created the tent fold card and adore the colours used.

The poppy card is lovely in the muted shades.

Good luck getting somewhere regarding your kidney op ASAP. xxx

Your first is certainly zesty and so beautiful too, it really sings. A lovely autumnal feel to the second card and the painting is so effective. Fingers crossed that you are finally going to get something sorted this week health wise.

WOW--800 is a lot of challenges! Love the beautiful green and blue butterflies for the first card. I'm looking at that bottle stamp with bunnies inside right now. It's my favorite, but this version is lovely, too! Hope you liked Lydia's video and had fun trying the technique!

Dearest B., I get your blog posts and pray for your health too. It certainly can be a medical merry-go-round at times can't it. Praying that surgery I'd able to be done ASAP.
Did you know WOYWW is it's 800 week too. You must have started the same time as WOYWW over at Allsorts.
I love the vibrant butterfly card, stunning and the more muted poppy card. I'm only just discovering Lavinia. Thanks for sharing, and may God bless you and keep you and all whom you love safe and well!
Prayer hugs, Shaz in Oz.x
