Tropical paradise v Wintertime

Morning everyone, time for new challenges at We Love Stamping where our theme is Sand and Sea as selected by Faith. At Stamping Sensations a change to how we do things and it's Anything Goes with an option for those who like a challenge, this month the option is Christmas in July. Prizes come from and Craft Stash and AALL and Create.

Above a Penny Black stamp I've had for a very long while called Paradise (40-691), I created the sky with pans pastels before stamping the image using Distress Markers direct to stamp, added sand and sea again with Pan Pastels and a fence using a really old stamp of which I have no idea of name or make other than it was purchased in America. The sentiment is from Inkylicious.

Here I've used AALL and Create Robin and Nuthatch (690) and Jolly Elements (560), an inked and stencilled (Evergreen 159) background, Robin and Poisettias stamped again, cut out and decoupaged. A moonlight gelly roll pen to add dots to create a circle, a few garden twigs, twine and finito.

I am popping over to the Snippets Playground with this one, the Robin, Poinsettias and woeds are all stamped onto snippets.

Love both these cards Brenda, the summer scene looks really artistic with gorgeous shades for sea and sky, and I love the soft watercolour stamping of the palm trees. Beautiful second card too … that robin is one of my favourites and I love how you sat him on the twigs

What a gorgeous peaceful and serene scene you've created on the first card! I'd like to be there watching the sun come up over the water. I love the matching envelope too. Your snippets make is great too with that cute little robin perched on the twigs. I like that circle of dots you created too. NJ on both cards.

So impossible to choose a favorite this time around, they both are simply beautiful!

I've been having several scene stamps from Penny Black on my wish list for years but I do have one and have a hard time with it (using it) so I have not gotten any of their others. You really are making me wanting to give them another try with that gorgeous summer sunrise scene.

Two beautiful cards Brenda. The first one, I wish I could be beamed up and placed there, with no booking flights or packing! The second one is equally gorgeous, I love Christmas and Robins. I am still waiting for Summer, it will soon be Christmas before we know it.

Abbracci, buona Domenica sera!

What a gorgeous pair of cards, Brenda and I particularly love the first one. I love the peaceful scene you created and thanks for reminding me about the pan pastels I have tucked away in a cupboard somewhere. They're tucked away because I could never get results like this with them!
Hope you are well,

Your use of the Penny Black stamp "Paradise" is truly captivating! The sky created with Pan Pastels sets a serene backdrop, and the addition of the sand, sea, and fence elements adds wonderful depth to the scene. The decoupaged Robin and Poinsettias, along with the stencilled background, bring a delightful touch of nature to your card. Beautifully done!
