Spots and Stripes and amazing skies

Morning everyone, a new challenge at Allsorts and Lorraine would like to see some 'Spots and Strips'. We have prizes from Stampendous.

Allsorts celebrates it's 15th Birthday next week and there are awesome prizes, so please help us spread the word........and talking of words, theres a play on them in the logo to give you a hint of what's to come!

A stencilled spotty background and flowers from AALL and Create Hellebore (1063) which were stamped onto inky offcuts, cut out and arranged onto the base. Words from the same set and quote form my Believe stamp set. I would also like to share this at The Path of Positivity challenge.

Many thanks for your visits, know I've been a tardy blogger with all that's been going on but a glimmer of hope following the Albation, I've had two days this week with only a few hours of migraine.

Addendum: Amazing North Lights/Aurora Borealis skies in our parts last night....

  1. Lovely card as always Brenda. I'm amazed you could see the Aurora Borealis so far south. Needless to say we've got to contend with so much urban glow here it wasn't remotely visible... x

  3. Fabulous photos Brenda, we are even getting the display here too, which I don't think has ever happened before, although down in the South Island it can be more common

  6. Very pretty card Brenda with a beautiful soft stencilled background .. and a fab inky mop up background too. Amazing photos of the Northern Lights … apparently there was an amazing display over much of the UK last night though I didn’t see them here.

  7. Such a beautiful card Brenda - loving your stencilled background, and the hellebores are so perfectly coloured.
Your sky photos are stunning - we have seen some also, over the past two evenings. I could only see and edge of the colour as my view was obscured by other houses...
Good to hear that your health is improving, albeit slowly
    Blessings

  9. Wonderful sentiment on this beautiful card! The layers of lovely texture and color are perfect behind the floral cluster; great add of the little threads for the bird. So happy you shared with us at Path of Positivity! Katrina

  14. WOW - you had a great showing of the Aurora. Being really far south we only had a faint green glow and a slightly pink tinge in the sky - but definitely saw some shafts of light as well. Good enough - but not as pretty as yours.

Onto your card: LOVE that sentiment with the little bird sitting on top. The flowers are so pretty - as is your background.

Hope you get a few more pain-free days. xxx

  15. Such a beautiful card Brenda, love the color scheme and lots of great interest on the background with the beautiful inking and stenciling.
And what an amazing view of the Northern Lights you had! They were visible in many parts of the USA too but it had to be a cloudy night here so we missed out :(

  26. WOW--what a view you got of the magical celestial show! If only we'd known to drive 1/4 mile down the road where a neighbor saw them. We just barely saw the color, but it was still amazing and my camera actually captured a lot of color we couldn't see with the naked eye. Glad you've had some relief of the migraines and hope it continues to improve. Absolutely beautiful card, Brenda!
