Running late

Morning everyone, an apologies to my teamies as this should have been yesterdays post for We Love Stamping and Stamping Sensations. I usually schedule ahead but due to flu last week that didn't happen, then Saturday morning I collapsed in the kitchen, ambulance came but unable to take me to hospital as no new admissions due to pending NHS strikes, so a cobble up of paramedic's and 111........I'll say no more than it's rather like DIY health care.

Prizes this month come from Craft Stash, above my WLS share using AALL and Create stamps and another apology to the guys at A&C as there are no links this time

This one for SS using all Lavinia stamps.

  2. Two lovely cards, but my fave is the second one with the combo of blue and brown, it looks amazing. I really must try stamping in something other than black for silhouettes!
    Take care.

  7. OhBrenda I’m sorry you’ve had this health trauma, and the situation with the ambulance is a shocker .. WTF??\ I do sympathise with the action of health workers, but when it comes to health care there may not be another chance if they get it wrong .. and when people are taken I’ll they already feel anxious and vulnerable. I hope you’re soon feeling better, and by the way both the cards are fab. (Hugs)

  11. What a horrible and frightening experience Brenda, I do hope you're feeling better now. It's dreadful that the strikes and unrest are affecting patients in this way, so worrying that we can no longer rely on getting the emergency care when it's needed. I fear that things will get worse as the winter goes on.
Your cards are both beautiful, especially love the Lavinia one!

Fabulous cards, both full of interesting details!! My favourite is the scenic one, you know I love nature's scenes and Lavinia stamps. The sparkling on the snow looks wonderfully, as well the blue and brown palette!!
Hugs, be careful and take care of yourself!!

  25. Hope you are feeling some wot better now. The health system is certainly becoming a DIY affair. Spent two weeks trying to get doctors phone apt just to get medication to tide me over christmas. Didn't like it that I was asking for a prescription on a just in case basis. You would think they would be happy I was trying to think ahead. Hope you have a nice Christmas. Hugs Mrs A.

  29. Oh my goodness--you have really had a time of it! I'm wishing for a healthier 2023 for you! Hope you're much better now. Scary to have hospitals closed because of workers striking! I understand people need to get what they deserve, but I never could accept nurses or doctors going on strike & I never did. But I did work a nurse strike when I was a supervisor. Actually enjoyed doing more patient care myself & not dealing with employees for that summer--haha! Anyway--your cards are beautiful, as always!
