Morning Peeps, it's mid month time at We Love Chocolate Baroque and Stamping Sensations. Prizes at both challenges this month are from Chocolate Baroque. I'm also linking to the current Butterfly Challenge, been far too long as I don't really enter challenge these days but try to make an exception for this one and just happened to have something to fit the current requirements.
I also thought I would share a few photos of some of our Orchidaceae, or Orchids to most of us as they are coming back into flower beautifully at the moment. Some 20 or so varieties and colours winter in the conservatory which seems to suit them and where hubby nurtures them, then I find them appearing throughout the house as he re-homes them when they come back into bloom.
So I have three shares for you and the top one is my SS creation using Lavinia stamps for our Fantasy and Magical theme. I started with the oversize sun/moon, built up the background with Oxides and then stamped everything with Versafine black.
My WLCB mid month shares are fairly simple, Daffodils and Bluebells the first with a bit of background stamping and the second in a fancy die cut frame with coordinating DP which I think is some pretty old G45.
And here's my Butterfly Challenge entry following the colours of Lilac, Lawn Green and Lemon (although that looks more green) and the requisite Butterfly.

Wonderful florals in every sense, xxx
My words Brenda you are really spoiling us and putting us to shame for these wonderful creations. Gorgeous images, colours and designs. Just love the frames on your third card.

Just love the colour combo on the Lavinia one - so beautiful. The patterned paper behind the dies with the bluebells looks so pretty and unique too. As for orchids, I have had many gifted to me over the years and never managed to keep one! Yours are stunning.
ReplyDeleteA fabulous fairy scene and the sky looks very magical, and the CB Spring flowers look lovely, especially the framing of the bluebells. Your Orchids look absolutely stunning, well done hubby on keeping them flowering.
ReplyDeleteAvril xx
Absolutely fabulous cards x
ReplyDeleteI should have realised there would be another post this weekend. 4 fabulous cards, I particularly love the bluebell one. The bluebells near us are not out yet, I keep going to check on them. Thanks for the orchid photos. How lucky you are to have someone that nurtures them like that. My conservatory has been very hot recently as lots of sun but it is too cold to put the plants out. They are growing like crazy and I have now discovered mealy bugs:( I had a long walk in the sunshine with a friend today and now I am home I have a sunburned face! xx
ReplyDeleteYour first scenery card is gorgeous Brenda. The blue and green work so well together and the whole card has a lovely fairytale look. Your other cards are all beautiful too. I especially like the blue and green flower one, you have used a lovely die to frame the flowers. Marlies
ReplyDeleteYour Lavinia scene is just magical, the river is particularly well done, it looks so realistic. The orchids are fabulous too, they must like living with you! x
ReplyDeleteWOW Brenda what amazing creations I really do admire the scene you have created on the first and your Orchids are stunning, outstanding work as always

ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos too.
Super collection of cards. I do so like your scene with the hares and then I scrolled down and found the butterfly card. Oh my what a beauty. we have some meadow blues flying in the garden this past week and your card reminds me of them. Thankyou for coming and playing in the Butterfly garden. I have a few health issues that are preventing me from participating in any challenges at present but hope to get back into the swing of things. Hugs Mrs A.
