Dies at Allsorts and Chocolate Baroque

Morning Peeps, home from our travels after a very relaxing couple of weeks in the sun, worse part as always is coming home and trying to get back into the swing of things.

This weeks Allsorts theme is hosted by Kath who would like us to 'Use at least two dies'. Our sponsor is Stickeryou offering one lucky winner a whopping $65 store voucher. I also have my shares from my post over at Chocolate Baroque a couple of days ago plus some 15 minute cards from the post there today.

It seems to be CB all the way on this post, for the top card I used six different TL dies to cut the base shape and mats and layers, stamping the top layers with a mixture of Chocolate Baroque stamps and colouring in with sparkle pens. Some ribbons and liquid pearls to finish. That seems like a rather quick explanation, but the dies do all the work really.

Another CB sample using used to cut the aperture Pan Pastels for the background and stamping using Distress Markers direct to stamp, along with a sentiment which is also CB.

And here are my Chocolate Baroque shares from this weeks posts over there................

Happy weekend all, lets hope the weather is kind.

  2. Visiting your blog is always an absolute pleasure Brenda, especially when we are treated to an amazing array of cards such as this. I couldn’t choose a favourite as they are all so very beautiful and I adore the necklace with the feathers, what a superb gift. Great work! Wishing you a happy and colourful weekend. 3. Wow, Brenda! Such an amazing selection of art and all so different. Great use of dies and of the feather stamp - love the necklace :-) but also the variety of ways you used that one stamp.

And I love those flower stamps - so delicate and with so much detail. I particularly love the last one - maybe because it's blue and that's my favourite colour, but I just love the simplicity of it and the blue you've chosen is a beautiful shade. The crackle stamping just enhances it and adds that little bit of something extra. I'm presuming it's gold, which would add a lovely sheen, too - a richness.

Back with a bang! Great to see your work again.
