Morning Peeps, I have another card for the current Butterfly Challenge following the theme of Butterflies with Vanilla and/or Vase.
Again determined to get something made in spite of this painful malfunctioning body of mine I stuck with inkiness and splatters where you can't go wrong really and three Penny Black Butterflies along with distress inks in a 'vanillar'ish' colour. The sentiment is Visible Image.
I also have my card for our mid month inspirational post at Penny Black and More using the lovely 'Freshly Cut' stamp which I coloured with Spectrum Sparkle pens.
Short and sweet I'm afraid but have to listen to my body in the hope continued rest will eventually improve things.
What a beautiful card love it x

ReplyDeleteLoving both of these beautiful cards. I have pinned the second one as I love that fabulous fold. The flowers are so beautiful...love the hot bold colour of the blooms, mats and ribbon.
ReplyDeleteThe first is stunning. The sentiment just catches at my heart. I think you always have such lovely sentiment stamps!
Totally understand about your health. We have spent the month of August up at the lake. I seem to do better there with my arthritis, as it is hot and dry heat here. The temps have ranged around 30 to 36 degrees. We have had scads of company though, so DH has shouldered more than half of the housework and cooking tasks. So much fun to spend time with good friends and family!
Love the delicate air-brushed look of the stencilling behind the butterflies, and though I'm sorry to hear you're so under the weather, I'm glad you're still managing to do some crafting. Sending hugs.
