Good morning to you all, it's time for our new challenge at Allsorts where this week Julie would like to see 'Clean and Simple'. Our sponsor is Digistamp Boutique plus one extra prize.
I have used a new Penny Black stamp called 'Pop Pop Poppy'................well how could I not buy that one ? I inked the stamp with Distress Markers and spritzed with water before stamping onto the the reverse of a sheet of Centura Pearl. Added a Penny Black sentiment and drew a black border around the image. Simples as the Meerkat's say.
Needless to say I had a long play session with this stamp, a red one, a pink one, a blue one...........get the drift.
Happy weekend all.
That's a beautiful card Brenda. Have a good weekend. Clare

ReplyDeleteOh, Brenda! As soon as your blog photo popped up, I sighed. How could you NOT have that image, INDEED! I am in love, and need to add it to my stash LOL It's a perfect image for the CAS challenge - features the stamp so well without taking one's attention off on other elements! Beautiful card! The technique is marvelous! Thinking about you, Brenda, and hoping you are gaining strength and getting back some of the abilities that crashed recently. love, de

ReplyDeleteHello Brenda
ReplyDeleteGorgeous card. I love CAS cards but I really struggle to make them. I find it very hard to leave empty spaces on a card and feel I have to fill all the space with embellishments. If I get time I will try and make a card for the challenge. Absolutely snowed under with crafty stuff at the moment. Best go and get on with it!!
Take care
Lesley
