Morning to you all, the first Sunday of the month so time for new challenges at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More where our themes are Christmas and Anything Goes.
My top one for Stamping Sensations is one of the samples I made some time ago for a TV show for our sponsor Stamp Addcits using their happy Santa image. My second one uses a lovely bird image from Nicecrane Designs. The image is simply framed with a Spellbinder die, some Marianne holly and a Spellbinder Poinsettia to embellish. I would like to enter this into.........
Sweet stampin' - Shaped card
A second Stamping Sensations one using one of the lovely Nicecrane Designs Christmas images, I just love these and they make such a perfect seasonal card with just the addition of a pretty frame, poinsettia and holly.
My Penny Black piece is one of my first ventures back into stamping, I can't really hold the stamps firmly still so I thought some Dylusional inkiness and Frantage was perfect as you can't really go wrong with a piece like this. I would like to enter this into........
Hiding in my craft room - Fall colours
Sugar creek hollow - Anything Vintage
And there is a final late runner as I was desperate to try some proper stamping and this is what I came up with, it took me the best part of an afternoon and a good few attempts before I managed to get the card and stamp to meet as the stamp usually lands on it's own before I am ready but am relatively happy with what I ended up with. I would like to enter this one into.............

ReplyDeleteWow Brenda you have been busy, love all your cards ,can't decide on a favourite but I love the birds on the Nicecrane card and then your third card is just fabulous, great to see you back stamping. I bought a stamp press as I have the problem of dropping stamps too,of course it only works with unmounted stamps but I've found it a great help when my hands are really bad.

So many cards at once :-) Really nice that you have been stamping even if it was just a little. It must be very hard for you, if your hands are not doing what you want them to do. But I love you new cards!! Please take good care !

ReplyDeleteAll so pretty! I think my favourite is your fall-coloured butterfly card - it's absolutely beautiful! I'm fairly new to your blog but to read that you have trouble stamping, it is impossible to tell. You did well here with stamping - it's obvious you love it so much - it really shows in the finished products. I hope you are able to continue as long as you can because I for one certainly enjoy seeing your creations.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous cards! I love the shaped Santa card with the fun Liquid Applique embellishment, and the beautiful butterflies with the gold accents!

ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous Santa, that's what he should look like! All your cards are so beautiful and you are a great inspiration as it is so difficult for you to stamp at the moment and you have done an incredible job. Michelle x

ReplyDeleteNancy,DT
Brenda, all of these cards are stunning. Love the 'fur' on Santa's hat and his sparkling beard. Your decoupage birds and poinsettia on second card are gorgeous. Your third card is amazing with all its color and Fran-tage - love the texture. And last card is simply beautiful!
ReplyDeleteBrenda, you should get a stamp press. I keep my eye on Fiskars stamp press but until then I'll use self made stamp press. It is easy to make: take your largest acrylic block and adhere with sticky strips a piece of thick foam in each corner. I wouldn't be able to make any stamping without it.
Hugs,
Eret
Oooo what a fabulous set of cards and all so different too, Luv Sam x
