Nicecrane Lovers

Morning to you all, hope you are having a good week thus far.

First up apologies for the lack of posts and for the 'copy pasty' comments some of you have received from me, but the hands arms and shoulders are playing up due to a flare up of Cervical Spondylosis so along with my normal dodgy dexterity issues there's not a lot of choice.

It also affects my stamping abilities, I did have a play with stamps yesterday but the bin came off best so I gave that up as a bad job and reverted to Ignacio's Nicecrane images, to be honest they are a God send just lately and enable me to keep crafting with the minimum stamping.

As some of you know I was recently invited to join the Prickly Pear team and this week they are having a sketch challenge and giveway here which includes the lovely leaf and die sets which are great, you will be seeing some of what I made with them in a week or so.

So here are a couple of shares, one of which below is an anniversary card for our Daughter and SIL whose Anniversary was yesterday.......and it's ours today !! The top card uses an image from the Victorian French Postcards, Graphic 45 DP's which lend themselves so well to these images and flowers made using Tonic punch and stamp Peruvian Lily set which I shaded slightly with Pan Pastels.

This is the Anniversary card, I think this image is so perfect for the occasion and our Daughter loved it, I think as a Humanities teacher it appealed to her love of all things Historical. It uses an image from the Victorian Lovers French Postcards, again Graphic 24 Secret Garden DP's, ribbon, a button and cord.

Have a good Tuesday and see you all soon.

  37. I love the way you have caught that reddish peach colour of the girl's skirt in your patterned paper panel - I can imagine it being the same fabric! Your second one does the same too with the lady's overskirt & I love the way your splendid button picks up the blue of her hat.
Take care of yourself - I'm glad that you're able to still create whilst not being able to stamp & thank you so much for leaving a sign that you'd visited - it's much appreciated. Thinking of you.
    Much love

  38. Two great cards, the first one Little Lord Fontleroy, came to mind no idea why, really lovely delicate flowers.
I am not sure if you would like to hear what came to mind on the second card, but risking losing a follow I thought ' does my bum look big in this', sorry I do have a wicked sense of humour and I do not intend to take anything away from the fabulous cards.
I really hope that things improve for you very quickly, to say that you are suffering, you have produced some wonderful work.
