All creatures great and small

Our themes at Stamping Sensations and Penny Black and More this month are All Creatures Great and Anything Goes and warning in advance this is a bit picture heavy as I got rather carried away with the themes.

For Stamping Sensations I have two DT pieces, the one at the top using an image from The Edwardian Lady Birds from Nicecrane Images, links to the sheets below. I have tried to reflect the rustic feel to the images with some hessian and twine, a lovely sentiment from Stampendous which goes well with the image and a sprinkling of Frantage. I would like to enter this into:

Gem of a challenge - Lets hear it for the boys
A little bit crafty - A little bit shabby

Scary stuff for me but I have gone a bit CAS with my Penny Black and More DT piece using one of my favourite PB floral images and stamping in just two colours, black versafine and festive berries distress inks and creating a spotlight. Simple as that really. I would like to enter this for:

Quick Quotes - Stamping
Cards galore - Flowers

Now my second Stamping sensations piece using another image from Nicecrane this one the Amazing Children sheet and a sentiment which is an unmounted one so not really sure of the make. The DP is Graphic 45, some stitching and the butterflies are Spellbinders. I would like to enter tis for:

My Sheri crafts - Stitching

And one final Penny Black share using one of the new Christmas releases called Christmas Harmony, Cheery Lynn holly and Tonic punch and stamp Poinsettias.

Christmas all year round - Getting ready for Christmas

As always we have some great prizes to be won at both challenges so I do hope you will join in the fun.

  16. Wowser times four! All of them are gorgeous. I particularly love what you have done with the Nice Crane images - that fires my imagination and reminds me that I can alter printed sheets and embellishments. The fourth is my favourite because I love bird stamps, sounds a little wrong lol! Beautiful creations TFS Brenda x

  32. Your hessian & twine do reflect the rusticity in your first card & your second card is very striking indeed. That I think has to be my favourite - a really superb idea to create the spotlight in reverse colours & I love how the two images join so perfectly.
The tag inserted behind your lace in third adds a lovely touch & I particularly like your soft colouring of those poinsettias in the final sample.
