Coastal scenes

Morning everyone, hope your week is going well. Afraid I've been a really tardy blogger this week, no post for several days mainly because I've had my head down getting DT work done that needs to head off over to the States so what with work as well time has been in short supply, so apologies for the lack of visits.

I know in advance that this is going to sound a tad deja vous as it's another really quick pre work post with a couple of shares.

Both were created a few months ago when I was in a bit of a coastal mood..........it must come from living so far from the sea and not seeing it very often.

The top one was done with Pan Pastels and a mixture of Stampscape and Sutter stamps and the second one is brayered and sponged using Adirondack dye inks.

Have a good Thursday all and thanks so much for your much appreciated visits and lovely comments.

  3. Good morning Brenda, these are both gorgeous especially the first one. There is something about the coast isn't there. I get to see a fair amount of it now that my daughter lives so near the sea. Enjoy the rest of the week x

  4. They are both gorgeous... I have got some DT pieces due too that I haven't got done and am away all weekend..! Still they're informal DT not for companies or anything so missing one wouldn't matter enormously,(except to me!) but fingers crossed I'll get something done...

  7. Hi Brenda hope you don't mind me butting in but I saw your comment on Carol's blog re pinning on Pinterest! It is very easy if you open up your page you will see a Red plus sign by your picture on the right. If you click on this you can then add the URL from Carol's site and choose what you want to pin! Hope this is clear! Fabulous card by the way!! Susan x

I haven't been a good blogger myself lately because of the portraitdrawing taking up a lot of time. But sometimes you have to make choices :-)

  23. Love them both Brenda. I love the Sea and your first one reminds me of our break last month over on the Western Isles. The beaches are just so beautiful over there and we were so lucky with the weather too. Have a Pea Soup brain at the mo and finding blogging and card making hard. Hopefully it will pass and I can have some fun. So appreciate you lovely comment this morning. A bit of a dino on Pinterest myself, lovely to think you want to pin one of mine.Haven't been on it lately. Will upload it to pinterest. Not sure how to find you on there! Hope you are keeping not so bad. Take care Carolxx
