Good morning peeps, thought I would share few of the samples I have made for Stamp Addicts next programs on Create and Craft scheduled for Thursday, 9 August at 11 AM and 6 PM, don't forget to pop a note in your diaries.
I have really enjoyed playing with these stamps and I think the poinsettia one at the top and below has to be my favourite Stamp Addict release this year, it's so versatile and works beautifully with inking or paper piecing, a technique I use quite a lot because it's no secret I can't colour in for toffee.

For the top card I inked direct to stamp using the distress markers and spritzed with water before repeat stamping.
The card above has a background created with dye inks, ink dusters, some masking ans sponsging, then I simply stamped the silhouette stamp and star using black Adirondack dye ink.
My final card for this post uses the poinsettia again, this time paper pieced onto a background created with one of the text stamps that will also be available on show.
Thanks for looking everyone, I'll be back with more shares using the stamps later in the week.
brilliant!
ReplyDeleteAll gorgeous, Brenda. I do love the inking and paperpiecing! Ruth x
ReplyDeleteA wonderful selection of cards today Brenda, the first is my favourite but I love them all :o)
ReplyDeleteJackie xx
I think that's the most beautiful poinsettia stamp I've ever seen Brenda - and the direct to stamp marker method suits it perfectly - but then again - so does the paper piecing. Will set box to record (yay - I've got one of those now) so even if I forget on the day I'll still catch it.
ReplyDeleteThree beautiful cards - thank you for sharing (and the sneak peek).
Beryl xx

ReplyDelete3 excellent and striking cards, must be lovely to see your creations on tv, well done. janex
ReplyDeleteGreat sneaky peeks. I love the background of the Nativity card.
ReplyDeleteI caught my breath when I saw the first poinsettia - the beauty of the classy layering with the elegant outlines & hint of colour just makes this very special indeed. I love the little trio of green gems to accent. The star is what caught my eye in the second - beautifully delicate & the 'pointer' of Christmas. As you say the paper piecing lends itself to the poinsettia beautifully & goodness does it change the character of the card - making the stamp utterly versatile.
