But the weather has been glorious, such a wonderful change and I'm keeping everything crossed it stays for a few more days. I've been pretty busy this week with Christmas samples for Stamp Addicts and will be sharing some of those next week, also I am such a lucky girl as I am also working with the beautiful new floral stamps from Tonic Studio designed by my good friend Ruth Hamilton which premiered on Create and Craft las week, again I'll be sharing some of those with the very shortly.
We have been back to the vet with Buffy again today so they can check her out and the good news is that at the moment she remaines stable and the tumour does not seem to have grown any more since her last scan, although her temperature remains high. So the plan whilst she retains her interest in food and life in general........she still regularly rolls into her favourite position on her back, arms in the air inviting the others to play…….is that we continue to play it day by day.
I've been thrilled to bits this week to see so many of you joining in my poppy challenge, I came up with it just for a bit of fun and because so many of us love poppies which are in abundance in the fields and dykes this year, the fact that peeps have joined in and with such fabulous pieces of work has really made me happy. Thank you guys. Don't forget that there is still quite a few more days if you want to join in for a chance to win the £20 Sir Stampalot voucher, details in the post at the top of my blog.
So I thought seeing so many of you have gone to the effort of making lovely pieces of artwork, that it was only right that I made something myself and here it is.
Have a lovely Thursday everybody hope the sun continues to shine where you are.
Gorgeously creative. Just stunning. Wishing you a great Thursday.

ReplyDeleteGorgeous Brenda love those poppies and you've created a lovely scene with them. I must try and get something done with one of my poppy stamps today. I've just spent the morning so far getting the card MOT'd and taxed so I think it's me time now.
ReplyDeleteGood to hear Buffy's not any worse. I'm with you with just playing it by ear as long as she's happy. I think we dog lovers know when it's time to let go.

What a beautiful card. I was surprised to see my own poppies, but without the background and I saw the stamp is from hero arts too! It is one of my favourites, so I think that I will try to buy the one you used also. They are so lovely!! Great card and scenery!

What a lovely offering it is too Brenda. I am glad to hear that Buffy is stable and comfortable and hope that continues. This weather soothes the soul doesn't it. I really hope it lasts as it is just now 2 more sleeps until The Wedding. Take care of yourself and take things as they come.

What a stunning card Brenda, you build such beautiful scenes and I adore poppies :)

Glad to hear that Buffy is still interested in & wanting to play with the others. I love the scene you created for these poppies - the pastel scenery with swallows & grey foliage is quite strking & the Poppies stand proud in beautiful glorious colour. Not managing to do much aside from tangling & commenting as having a bit of a tussle with medication & having to stay still for long periods. Have just managed to keep up with the Alphatags swap.
ReplyDeleteTake care & good to see your new system working.
