ABC challenge

ABC challenge this week is "M for Masking" so one I just had to join in with as it gives me the perfect opportunity to do some brayering and masking with my fairies.

All stamps used are from Lavinia. I started by placing a circle mask onto a piece of gloss cardstock to create a moon, then brayering over with a Big and Juicy Hydrangea inkpad, then more brayering over a mask of torn paper to create mountains (I promise I will shortly be doing a 'moon and sun' tutorial as requested). All stamping was done with versfaine black and embossed with detail clear. A piece of ribbon is tied round the card to finish and I added Inkssential white here and there to add some dimension.

    This is absolutely gorgeous - I love those colours and I do love Lavinia stamps, even if I'm struggling with getting good images from them. B&J Hydrangea is also one of my favourite colour combinations in ink pads!

    I am so in awe of your talent for making these beautiful cards Brenda. Looking forward to a tutorial but I have watched videos of the ladies from Lavinia and Clarity and I still haven't mastered it. Will keep trying when I've got the time to just 'play'.

    The queen of the heat gun and embossing powders has done it again. Totally amazed me with such beauty. That fairy is so magical and the colours are dreamy. Wonderfully stunning creation your so talented love.

    Beautiful card Brenda, love all the masking ect,the only thing I'm not so sure of is the very tall upright thin fairy It could give one a complex!!
