A bit of a test post to establish if my blog issues have been resolved. Google/Blogger have been helpful but are still to resolve some issues, add to that another which I know I'm not alone with, my posts are not showing up on your reading lists and likewise most of yours not appearing on mine so our visits to one another are very much hit and miss.
So seemed sensible to do a post and enter a couple of challenges to test the blogger water. Inspiration Station has a photo and the colours immediately jumped out at me, like most I'm sharing lately not a new one, I was relieved to find quite a few un-blogged cards long since forgotten about. I tend to work ahead anyway so hopefully they will keep me going with just the one or two new ones until after the op mentioned below. Above uses Lavinia Eira, Faedew, Cherry Blossom and several worker stamps. This also fits at Heartquest shaped cards/tags and it's Make it Colourful at Simon Say's.
Christmas Kickstart has a new theme of Seasons Tweeting and one perfect in my files which I think was made last Autumn when I first had my spin tool, again Lavinia stamps, Mistletoe, Pinecone, Bobby and Christmas Greetings. Also linking at Merry Little Christmas and Holly and Ivy.
Regarding that op, a compromise has been reached after seeing my Pain Consultant again, as some know I refused the surgery scheduled a couple of weeks ago - still think Orthopaedics were trying to fill a slot with their haste. The plan is Ablation to settle the neck nerves followed by Cervical Microdiscectomy which is less invasive, lower infection risk and hopefully quicker recovery time. But not all hospitals offer the combination so waiting to see where and when.

This did just show up on my reading list, so maybe the issue is getting resolved. Blue and orange make such an eye-catching combo. That is a magical view. And even your partial wreath is amazing. You'll get a good head start on holiday cards. I hope your blogger issues get resolved. hugs-Erika
ReplyDeleteWell this one moved to the top of my list but I have been having issues of several posts from various people not doing so which means, as you say, a bit of hit and miss regarding commenting on new work;. I've been scrolling down to see recent posts from those I'm expecting to see. Another issue I've had is that often the photos appear as blank spaces although usually clicking on the space to enlarge the pic normally does the trick and I can view them. not really a major problem - just irritating.
ReplyDeleteNearly forgot to comment on your post - two lovely stamped projects and I particularly like the partial wreath with the robin. Hopefully you still have a few pieces of older work to call upon while you are waiting to hear where and when your op will take place.
Both beautiful cards Brenda, love the stamps you've used, can't beat Lavinia! The good news is you're back on my reading list which does seem a bit hit and miss lately.
ReplyDeleteHope you don't have too long a wait for the surgery.
xx
Two lovely cards Brenda, like you I’m particularly partial to a robin and love seeing them in the garden. That mistletoe wreath makes a lovely frame for your sweet little chap, all fluffed up for winter. Thanks for joining Jo and me in Season’s Tweetings at Christmas Kickstart this month!
ReplyDeleteI think the issues with new posts showing might be resolving (several new posts I’d visited in other ways are now showing on my list), fingers crossed.
Both beautiful cards and love all the stamps. I have been missing a few posts lately and notifications of new challenges till a few days later! Hope you don't have to wait too long for surgery.

Two beautiful cards Brenda, glorious colours in the first and a wonderful wreath and robin. Like others posts either haven't appeared or are up to 2 days later than they were posted.pleased to read that you've been offered less invasive procedures, hope you don't have long to wait.
ReplyDeleteI love both your cards, I’m glad you still have some to share, it means we won’t miss out on seeing your artwork that may have been made a while ago.
ReplyDeleteKeeping everything crossed for you, and hoping you get the procedures you need soon. xxx
Two beautiful card using your gorgeous Lavinia stamps, Brenda. This post appeared in my Reading List, although it says you posted it 14 hours ago, but wasn’t there when I looked at my Reading List about 6 hours ago.
ReplyDeleteHope you get the treatment you need soon.
