Let Your Spirit Take Flight

Afternoon everyone, I've some cards to share for challenges

Above for Fab and Funky's Going Round in Circles and Simon Say's Monday Things with Wings. The Butterfly is Lavinia Indra stamped onto a inky splattery background, coloured with Zig Clean Colour pens, a fine tip gold pen and then circles added using three different sized stencils, quickie glue pen and Gilding Tilsen and Lavinia Let your Spirit  sentiment plus sticker words. Also adding at Time Out Challenges who are asking for Favourite Techniques, for me it has to be stamping and backgrounds and at Just us Girls it's Stencil Week, I used three.

This one is for the Snippets Playground using some of the Amazon dies I bought especially to push myself out of the stamping comfort zone (although still a little in the background using an A&C stamp) and with a view to using up some snippets, even remembered a photo of them. Carz4Galz would like to see Pink Flowers so entering there as well.

Have a good weekend.

  1. A really gorgeous butterfly stamp and it looks great with the stencilled circles. Die cuts are combined nicely with the stamps used on the second card. Well done for using up some of your snippets

  7. LOVE both cards Brenda. However, your snippets card REALLY appeals to me as I love the grungy stamping behind the lovely die cut flowers and foliage. The little tag is the icing on the cake.

Thanks for coming to play in the Snippets Playground. See you up in the treehouse for a mug of hot chocolate & extra marshmallows shortly. xxx

  12. The butterfly is absolutely radiant against that inky, splattery background, and the gold‑touched circles add such a striking sense of movement. The mix of Zig coloring and stenciling gives it so much depth. Your snippets card is just as lovely, with the bright florals popping beautifully over the subtle stamped texture. Both designs feel fresh and full of energy.

  14. These are gorgeous Brenda. I haven't seen that Lavinia butterfly stamp, but I love the details in it. And your color choices are fantastic. And sometimes a white background is very stunning, as in your second card. You added the pops of green and pink, and that stamped image is interesting too. Enjoy the treat of your weekend. hugs-Erika
